About this property
Lovely stone home with private garden
Located in the village of Fœil, only 2 km from the lovely city of Quintin, which is traversed by the Gouët River, this character-filled house, built in 1880 and renovated in 2004, enjoys peaceful surroundings, suitable for a relaxing stay with family or friends.
Set up near the owners’ home, on a 20-hectare plot, it faces a private wood from where begin hiking trails that lead to the GR 371, at the edge of the Gouët.
Showing off harmonious décor, this large, separate cottage is 180 m2 and can accommodate 6 people. On the first floor, it has 1 bedroom with private bathroom, equipped with a toilet and a walk-in shower. Fully-equipped, the kitchen notably includes a dishwasher, a freezer, and two refrigerators, whereas the living room has a wood-burning stove, a flat-screen television, as well as a DVD player, and extends onto a south-facing veranda, with chairs, armchairs, and a table, offering a view of the garden.
The second floor includes a large game room, two bedrooms, separate toilets and a bathroom with a bathtub and a hairdryer. The rooms all contain two single beds, which can be placed side by side to make a double bed. Two cribs and a spare bed will be available to you as well. You will also take advantage of a well-maintained, 1000 m2 private garden, which has outdoor furniture, deckchairs, and a patio.
The house is accessible for persons with reduced mobility. You must pay cleaning costs, a total of 50 euro, and a security deposit of 400 euro. In winter, heating will be billed at 50 euro a week.
Sheets and towels will be provided to you for free.
The house can accommodate pets for a supplemental fee of 50 euro per week, per animal. You will also enjoy all the facilities necessary to welcome horses on-site, for a supplement of 10 euro per day.

Only 2 km away, the town of Quintin houses supermarkets, shops, a movie theater and a tennis court. You will be able to go to its municipal pool, or even to its painting market, by taking the hiking paths at the far end of the property’s garden.
During your stay, you will additionally have the possibility to visit Quintin’s château, but also to discover the town and the surroundings of the municipality during a trip by horse-drawn carriage.
You will stay in the heart of the Côtes-d’Armor, a department which is overflowing with magnificent marine landscapes and sites of notable interest for tourists. You will be able to explore the emblematic Pink Granite Coast, along which is found the Sept-Îles natural reserve, as well as the historic town of Saint-Brieuc, with its half-timbered houses, its 12th century cathedral, and its museum of art and history.
The house is located 20 km from the Saint-Brieuc railway station. You will reach the airport in Rennes in 1 hour and 15 minutes, and the one in Nantes in 2 hours.
If you are travelling by car, you will need to follow the D700 from Saint-Brieuc, then the D790, up until Quintin.
