We have been here before, and each time is better than the one before. Also, Joel went the extra mile making our trip great. The rooms were all in tip top shape. Also hope to do it again next year.

We are always happy to hear a tenant has appreciated the relaxed atmosphere yet with our recent modernizations. Our setting, both indoors and outdoors, is aimed at our perception of our guests enjoying the treasures and pleasures of Cape Cod at their own pace and in their own space. We were particularly gratified that Rob and family loved to cook and were thrilled with our new equipped kitchen! Thank you and hope we see your return visit.
Been here before and the quality is why we keep coming back

Always a pleasure to have repeat visitors who know how to appreciate their hard earned vacation time and our facilities and gardens. Great to hear our improvements are noticed. Great guests. Come again and again.
A very uniquely designed property utilizing innovative space-saving architecture. You'll be delighted with the dual-level bedroom as well as the master bedroom with a huge skylight directly above the bed! A very well-stocked kitchen, along with enough seating on the enclosed porch to easily accommodate over a dozen folks at one seating. An enjoyable bike ride right from the yard, through the woods to Old King's Hwy, out to N.Pamet Rd then on to S. Pamet brings you right to the gate of Ballston Beach--one of the finest Atlantic-side beaches on the entire Cape!
Lovely house, roomy and immaculately maintained. Great kitchen for cooking family meals. All amenities provided. Beautiful garden. Easy drive to beaches. Owner very helpful and answers queries quickly . Highly recommended!

Thanks Tom and family for your kind thoughts. Glad to have you back again and again. Have a great rest of summer.
We enjoyed fitting eight of us easily in the spacious family room off the kitchen to eat, play games, watch hummingbirds. Private, and casual. Great walks to Ballston Beach off the beaten path.

Always a pleasure to hear how guests enjoyed our abode in Truro. Come again next year and stay longer.
Wonderful home offers great access to the Outer Cape
We used Joel's home for two weeks to explore the Outer Cape. The house has a great, well-appointed kitchen with everything you need for family meals, a wonderful screened-in porch and lovely grounds. Highlights were: Provincetown for oysters, Bay and Ocean beaches by bike, golf at the oldest links course in the US, and grilling the striped bass we caught on our day charter.

Sparkling guests who really know how to enjoy their respite. Pleased to hear our recent kitchen conversion worked so well for them. Thanfor being so communicative and for.accommodating our various caretaker visits. Come again when you can.
This was a great house for our, 3-generation,11 member family. An A-plus! The kitchen was a dream. It had everything one could need. Check-in and check-out were easy and without issues. An uncomplicated and friendly owner. Wi-Fi worked just fine. Easy access from route 6. Great place for kids. Had lots of beach stuff, chairs, tubes, towelsetc. Garden was lovely. Kids loved picking berries, flowers. The owners really did think of everything one might need for a good time at the Cape. Loved the big screened-in porch. Had to drive to Truro beaches, both ocean and bay, but they were convenient and easy with a sticker. Good place for a short hike to dunes, beach, or jog on quiet roads.

We are so pleased when families express appreciation for our "easy does it vacay" property. It makes our day too when guests say they really enjoy being together on glorious outer Cape Cod. Thanks and come again!
There were 8 adults and 4 children family members from different areas of USA. Wonderful week on the Cape. House was fully equipped, both in kitchen and games. Enjoyed the screen porch and fire pit. Lovely flower gardens as well. Only disappointment was the length of the walk to beach. Not an easy walk to Ballston Beach.

We are so glad you enjoyed your Cape vacation. Our Truro house has been hosting family get togethers, reunions and happy occasions since 1990. We continue to search for ways to make it even better. So all suggestions are welcome. With Massachusetts recent passing of residential renting taxes, we hope to influence the usage of such fees to improve beach parking and dune path clearing.
Although with climate change & increased hurricane action, old timers here think our Pamet valley location may soon be even closer to Ballston Beach. Happy summer to you all.
Well Equipped, Perfectly Located, Great Communication
I’ve been coming to Truro with my family for 30+ years both as an owner and as aa renter. There is no better place for a family gathering anywhere in this area in my opinion. It’s convenient to P’Town, the local fish and veg markets, Jams and an easy 1 5 mi walk to Ballston beach. Very well equipped kitchen - You wont need to bring a thing from home (other than - as usual for a rental - good knives). Highly recommend.

Fantastic tenants. Knew how to enjoy the Cape's offerings and our house and grounds. Pleased all the young adults found space and interests. And that all were able to help us through maintenance of deliveries and break in our new renovated kitchen. Optimal communicator. I will have to list my caborundum stone in the amenities! Hope to see you next year.
We had an absolutely fantastic time. The house is incredible with beautifully appointed kitchen and lovely bedrooms. We really loved that there is some separation between the kitchen/living room area and some of the bedrooms - made it easier to put the little ones down to sleep and then for the adults to stay up and enjoy the evening, without worrying about noise. Property was GORGEOUS, and we hope to return again in future years. Our group ranged from 16 month old to a 75 year old and everyone loved every minute. Thank you Joel for welcoming us to use your property!

It is so exciting to hear such nice comments about our Truro home and happy place. Multigenerational family reunions are just what we like having. We look forward to future visits and wish for you and the Family good health and good travels.
The property was large and accommodating for our family of 11 and very well stocked with everything we required. The property owner was exceptionally accommodating although no on-site. If you like isolation and quite, this the place. We found it to be inaccessible to the beach although advertised as within a 14 minute walk which through very difficult terrain. There are 11 beaches in Truro but a parking permit is a must to gain access. Plenty of good restaurants within driving range. Overall, we found the property somewhat pricey in relation to other comparably sized properties we’ve stayed at elsewhere but definitely met our needs.

We are always gratified when our large family' guests find our woodsy retreat gives them the quietness plus accommodates individual space to enjoy the rustic part of Cape Cod.
We are chagrinned to hear that apparently this guest took a wrong turn to the ocean (easy to do) as we are almost directly on the "Old Kings Hiway " path essayist Henry David Thoreau wrote about 100+ years ago which leads to North Pamet Rd past the youth hostel and onto Ballston Beach. We shall put a sign at this "easily missed first right turn" to save future walkers from that error and its longer consequence of other wood paths!
We also encourage frequent communication by texting, cell phone or email and have a very rapid response.
Truro, as does almost all Cape Cod towns requires permits to park at beaches. between 8am and 430PM. However, we inform guests that Truro shares a great beach with the National Seashore. They may use for a daily fee or free if eligible for a small fee lifetime US National Park Cards or Annual Permit "America the Beautiful Access Pass". These are available at the Forest Service ranger stations in nearby Provincelands Park (2 beaches) and Nauset Eastham- 2 beaches). Moreover, there are free freshwater ponds in Truro. We shall also further ensure that our house binder of materials of local maps (and a google catalog sites for restaurants) are up to date. We do post and inform tenants of these materials.
Our new cleaning service, linens policy and pest and mosquito control services and gardeners are all engaged o provide the what we hope is a safe, worry free, serene and restful holiday to enjoy the splendors and riches of Cape Cod!
We hope to see you all next year.
My extended family and I have been coming to Truro for years, and it can be hard to find a reasonably-priced place for all of us. This woodsy retreat was funky and fun. There are two sections: a main living area (with a screened-in porch where we spent most of our time) and two small bedrooms, and another wing with a loft, a bedroom with two levels, and a finished basement with a pullout couch.
The only hiccup was that because of a mixup, the house hadn’t been cleaned prior to our arrival. But our host graciously bought our dinner for that first night and arranged for a cleaning team to come in the very next morning.
Overall it was another wonderful stay in our favorite place and on our favorite beaches, with a house that really felt like a welcoming space.
I am pleased to offer this comment on Joel Auerbach's Rental at 29 Union Field Road, Turo, Mass. The house was beautiful and well-stocked, with things that made it a great place. The place was well-maintained and clean. The bedrooms were a good size, and the beds were quite comfortable. The common areas starting with the kitchen, had all the modern appliances, including a kettle to boil water for tea. Nice touch!
The living rooms, family rooms, and screened-in porch were outstanding. They were easy to access and useable. The grounds were well maintained and had plenty of shade for those hot summer days. They had a gas grill and a sitting area outside to enjoy.
The location was private yet close to essential shopping, groceries and doodads, restaurants, and of course, beaches. Herring Cove was about ten minutes. It is an excellent beach for a family because it is easy to access from the parking lot to the beach on the Bayside. Marconi’s is about the same distance.
Joel responded quickly to all questions and inquiries. He did offer many tips if you are new to the area.
I hope to return again next year with the family!

Thanks Tom . Marvelous guests thoroughly enjoying our corner of Cape Cod. That's what makes sharing so gratifying. See you again. Cheers.
Very good house for a big mixed age group. Beautiful gardens in a relatively quiet part of the cape. Unfortunately very buggy (due to all the rain, not the house’s fault) and could have been cleaner. Joel, the owner, was very helpful & responsive.
Wonderful house! Well stocked, very comfortable and spacious. We loved the master bedroom with private balcony and the gardens. The wind chimes were lovely. There were many nearby trails to hike on and the beach was a short drive away.

Our landscaping, pest and mosquito control services and craftsmen are all engaged to provide a serene safe, worry free, and restful holiday! Thank you. BTW Your personal correspondence about the quality of our renovations was especially appreciated by our contractor. We will endeavor to make continued improvements..
We hope to see you all next year.
My extended family (9 people of varying ages) rented this house for a week in August. It was clean and welcoming though two of the three bathrooms were outdated and one suffered mechanical failure and was out of the picture for most of the week. Owner and services were helpful in acting quickly to take on repairs. Despite this inconvenience (and with some accommodation from the owner) we had a good time. The house was cozy, well stocked, and nestled in the woods close (drive or bike) to beautiful beaches and a lovely pond for swimming.

Excellent guests who greatly assisted our support team repairing and recovering from an emergency sump pump failure in the lower bathroom. Glad they had a good week on Ballston Beach & the famous Truro kettle ponds despite this disruption. We toast their communication and patience.
