This cottage is well situated geographically in a hamlet on the banks of the Auvergne Volcanoes Park. Placed on the side of the east side of the Massif du Sancy, the region suffered less rainfall compared to the western slope.
Within less than 15 km you will find numbers of outdoor activity opportunities: hiking nearby nature reserve Chaudefour, mountain bike trails, adventure park with ziplines for children of all ages (Saint-Nectaire) , swimming in the lake (Murol), fishing in the many lakes, several climbing and cross-country or downhill in winter to Super-Besse. Excursions in Saint-Nectaire with its spa and Romanesque church; tours of the castle of Murol, Saint-Floret labeled 'prettiest village in France' or the medieval city of Besse.
For the more energetic, there paragliding jump on the site Creste / Saurier and for the more adventurous, possibility of ballooning.
