We enjoyed our stay and its location. It came with many choices of area places to eat and was easily accessible. The furniture was comfortable and the kitchen was very roomy. Overall we enjoyed our time there and had wished the weather was a bit better.
Wonderful cottage, clean and neat. The outside deck is lovely. South Kingstown Town Beach pass is a plus. We were a family of 4 and we had plenty of room.

No warning that no sheets and towels, no Hulu as advertised. Only one comfortable bed. Great location, owner very responsive.
Nice deck and private fenced yard. Kitchen stocked with dishes/soap/trash bags/paper products. Plenty of room for our family. They loved outside shower. Great location! Quiet neighborhood. Easy drive to many restaurants, ice cream, Kayaking. Town beach pass was a great perk. Went every day. Beautiful beach.
Excellent property, nice location, close to beach and restaurants!!
Had family down Sunday and Monday all day at he beach!! Beautiful….
Sad that it was really the last sunny beach day as Tues and Weds it rained and cloudy.
Thursday was overcast but we went to beach for 2 hrs and Friday it cleared up after 2pm.
Overall great vacation relaxing just wish we had warmer beach weather!
This home was perfect for us...it was extremely hot the first week we were there and we appreciated the large trees shading the back yard. My dog loved the yard and the desk. We enjoyed breakfast outside each morning. We walked to Charlestown Beach many times, as it is more beautiful than SK Beach, but we appreciated the parking pass and used it when it was too hot to walk. Great location- walked to Jitters Cafe many mornings, bought seafood at Happy Acres ...best corn ever at Carpenters.
Outdoor shower is THE BEST!

South Kingstown stay
NOTE: There are no bed linens or towels provided. This is specified on the listing, but you have to click on "see all rooms and beds details" where it says "linens not included." Because sheets and towels are pretty basic amenities (who travels with their sheets??) I think this should be made very clear in the main description of the place. The location is great, kitchen is well-equipped, and the yard and BBQ were really nice. The place is homey and has nice light. That said, it could use some TLC. There's chipping paint, mold in the bathroom, and a general smell of mildew. One of the blinds cracked and fell when I used it because it's so old. We found mouse droppings in the drawer under the oven. I think if you're looking for a less expensive beach vacation and don't mind bringing linens, this is a good option, but I also think vacationers who spend a lot of time and money on getting away deserve to know what they're getting into.
We had such a great week! My family has been renting beach houses for a week each summer since 2009, and this was one of our best years! The location is great, a quiet neighborhood with easy access to Charlestown Beach as well as a pass to South Kingstown town beach. My family prefers South Kingstown, so having the pass to that beach was so great! The house was comfortable, the perfect size for our family of 5 (kids are 12, 9 and 4) and our dog. The backyard is lovely and quiet and perfect to sit out with coffee in the morning. And that brings me to my next point- the outdoor shower. Listen- a lot of beach houses advertise outdoor showers (it’s a necessity for us!) but many many do not have an actual nice accessible shower with good water pressure and temp and an adequate enclosure. This one had everything! We minimized our water use due to the drought, but I’m hoping when we return next year I won’t feel guilty about nice long showers.
Anyway, if you’re on the fence, go for it! This is a great place!
The house is clean and spacious. The side deck is narrow but perfect for two. The beach (South Kingstown) is a short 5 mile drive. There is free parking for kayaking in Green Hill Pond and the inland waterway near Charlestown, both are today so keep an eye on the tides.
We loved our stay at the cottage. Had everything we needed.
It is about 2 miles from Charlestown Beach, and about 5 miles from Kingston beach, which was perfect.
Property was centrally located. Easy trip to Narragansett and Galilee. The Breachway national park is nicer & closer than the South Kingston town beach. Fishing was good too.
Needs some work, light switches, doors, locks, smoke detectors and grill. Roku TV no local stations.
A good place to stay with a pet. It was great to have a fenced in back yard for our dog. It was in the 70's when we went so the ocean breeze was refreshing. Easy communication and check in.
the cottage is in a nice neighborhood, renters and full-timers; it's only 5 min. to the nearest beach (Charlestown), but 10 minutes to South Kingstown Town Beach, where the beach pass works. However, I found that during the week, I could just put the beach pass on my dashboard and could EASILY skip right into Charlestown Beach. Purely logistical, S. Kingstown beach is actually nicer. The best fried clams with homemade sauce was at The Cove restaurant, hop skip and a jump from the cottage. There were some electrical issues during my 2 weeks, but Kathy was very responsive. During 90+ temp days, the livingroom/kitchen area was too warm and humid for me, even with ceiling fans on; (the only a/c units are in 2 of the 3 bedrooms) but on non super hot days, it was fine. LOVED LOVED LOVED THE OUTSIDE SHOWER! With town water, the pressure is absolutely fantastic! I never once used the inside shower. Kitchen and house well equipped with all the basics, and I even brought some things that were already provided.
Very nice house for a vacation at the beach. The location was perfect for both beaches and restaurants. House had everything one would need although we didn’t use the kitchen much as we ateout each night. We would rent again.
Perfect for a small family.. The beds were comfortable, house was very tidy and it had everything we could need. Great location and the beach you can use with the beach pass is perfect.
