The property was well designed for family and kids. We loved the screened porch as well as the open deck. Accessibility to the ocean was perfect; to walk out of the door and down the short dock to the beach was the best. We also enjoyed the vakay life package that came with the house. We opted for renting 2-SUP boards & corn hole set which both adults and kids loved. The beach was relatively private and uncongested unlike the portion of beach closer to the town center. We brought our own surf boards and caught some waves in the mornings. Thank you for such an awesome spot!

Thank you for such a detailed and wonderful review! We are thrilled to hear that the home’s layout worked so well for your family and that you made the most of both the screened porch and open deck. It’s great to know you enjoyed the quiet beach access via the short private dock, the surf right outside your door, and the VayK Life gear package—the stand-up paddleboards and cornhole sound like they made for an incredible trip. We would love to host your family again for another unforgettable beach vacation!

The kitchen had all the pots, pans and utensils and gadgets that we needed. We could hear the ocean from our bedroom which was on the ocean side. We enjoyed our stay very much.

It was a nice place right on the beach, perfect for our needs. Having the screened in outdoor porch area with a dining table was great. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment. For a place on the beach, it would be nice to include basics like beach towels. Also could have included coffee filters, and more than 3 or 4 trash bags etc.

Family friendly spring break

Our group of 6 adults and 3 kids very much enjoyed our stay at this oceanfront property. The house is well updated and had more than enough room for a group our size. The outdoor space is amazing and we very much enjoyed relaxing on the deck and walking the beach.

The house was clean and the views were amazing. There was even a water and food bowls waiting for our dog when we arrived. As nice as the house was we noted the screened in porch was in need of refreshing due to sea air. Also the outside hose where we rinsed our feet after being on the beach needed a new nozzle. We worked with Darby from the management group re needing an additional night at Folly Beach. Darby did an incredible job of finding us just the right place to stay. Thank you for the excellent customer service, Darby.

A birthday get away

What a wonderful stay in January for my notary! It was pet friendly so our girl could be with us! The house was very clean, easy check in, right on the beach, had everything we needed. It was just my husband and our dog, but had plenty of room for family or grounds to come to.

Beautiful sunrises

Nice quiet location with beautiful views of the beach. Could comfortably sleep 6 adults and 4 children but living areas would be a little tight. Had everything you would need but gas grill has seen better days, clean but so rusty couldn’t turn some of the knobs. Definitely would stay there again

Folly Beach Getaway

It was wonderful being right on the beach. We enjoyed having a screen porch to have lunch on. The house was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Some new railings on the screened porch and deck are needed. It was wonderful stay!

Relaxing Labor Day Weekend

Great location on Folly Beach -- the beachfront was wide open for us to sprawl out each day and enjoy the sun. Nice walk or short drive down to the pier (with much busier beach) and shops; convenient into Charleston as well. Home was everything we needed for a quick Labor Day getaway including getting in some holiday BBQ'ing. Will be back!

Relaxing stay

We enjoyed a relaxing beach vacay! The beach was beautiful and seemed private! We enjoyed the ability to walk right out of the house to the ocean and not have to fight a crowd or “pick a spot” since this need of the island is less crowded! The kids enjoyed being able to run along the shore and jump the waves! We could not have been any happier!

Small but well done right on the beach

The house was small but really well done and maintained. The property was super clean while the linens and sheets seemed to be pretty new. Everything worked perfectly. The town was small but with plenty to do and Charleston was only a 20 minute Uber ride away.

Amazing ocean view

We loved being able to see so much of the ocean out the back windows. It was almost as if it was an extension of the living room. The screened porch, the large deck, and the convenience to the beach made this such a wonderful property to enjoy with our friends and family.

We had a lovely stay and truly enjoyed our vacation. The location is perfect, the house was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. There were plenty of bath towels, and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The grill worked great. The hosts were very kind and communicative, and we really appreciated the early check-in. The credit provided was a nice bonus and allowed us to rent bicycles, which made our stay even more enjoyable.Just a couple of small things to keep in mind: there are bath towels but no beach towels (not an issue for us since we stayed in winter), and a few items like the beach chairs, outdoor hose, and living room sofa could benefit from some updates to make the experience even better.Overall, it was a very nice stay and we would definitely recommend it.

Great house. Perfect location.

This house was great. Updated and very clean. Loved walking in to music on. We had a girls weekend trip here and loved the open living space and the screened in porch and large deck. Only negative was a lack of storage in kitchen and bedrooms, but would still recommend and hope to come back some day.

Nice House

House was nice. Loved the open kitchen/dining/living room area, and screened porch. Mattress was too soft in rear bedroom and tended to sag in the middle.
