Blue Oak Cottage, renovated in 2017 and updated in design in 2022 and again in late 2024, is charming but with modern amenities. Nestled on a quaint tree-lined street, it is conveniently situated a few blocks from Donnelly Street and downtown Mount Dora.

The cottage is pet-friendly and entirely furnished: 650 sq ft of living space featuring a well-appointed kitchen, dining nook, full-sized washer and dryer, living room, one bedroom, and bath. Outdoor space includes a 200 sq ft screened-in porch with furniture, a separate, paved patio with chairs, and a charcoal grill. Bicycles on the property are for guests’ use. A queen-sized bed and fold-out couch can accommodate up to 4 guests. Owner lives on-site in the main home.

Free Wi-Fi and streaming television services, including Netflix, are available. Additional features include mini split AC/Heat units, a tankless water heater, and an air purifier. A full-sized washer and dryer come with complimentary detergent and dryer sheets.

--Kitchen Amenities--
There is a stocked pantry and an assortment of complimentary coffee and tea with associated accouterments. The renovated Kitchen features a tiled floor, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances (refrigerator, oven, microwave, and dishwasher), a blender, a toaster, and cooking utensils.

--Bathroom Amenities--
The initial complimentary toiletries include toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. A hairdryer is also included. The new Bathroom features a tiled floor and a walk-in shower.

--Living and Bedroom Amenities--
The Living Room features refinished hardwood floors, a fold-out sofa that can accommodate 2 guests, a chair with a pouf ottoman for lounging, and a television. The Bedroom features a queen-sized bed, television, iron and ironing board, robes, and luggage valets.
