Lisa was good to work with, there were a few hiccups but they took care of it. If you like firm beds you will love the beds. Kitchen was stalked pretty well. The view was amazing. It was a very nice property.
We had such a great time in a house that fit us all. Host was very easy to communicate with and flexible. Great view from the house. All around great stay!
Very spacious! Lots of beds for our big family. Kitchen dining tables also for everyone. Rooms were equipped with AC units or fans. We enjoyed the included puzzles and games. Location was close to lake. Everything went smoothly.
We got the family together for a reunion over the 4th of July. The property was close to everything.
We loved sitting around the fire pit in the evenings. There are plenty of spaces to gather inside also. The property is conveniently located and close to everything in Garden City. The host RJ is very responsive and added to a great week.
Good, we are happy that we were able to find this place

So glad you guys enjoyed your stay! The power issues are due to Rocky Mountain Power, they have resolved the issue and I apologise for the inconvenience. Thanks again for staying with us and glad that you will rebook!
This house is perfect for large gatherings. We had 30 and there was plenty of room. It is very well stocked with everything you could want to have a wonderful time! Gas outdoor firepit was such a nice addition. The view of lake amazing. We had a great time!
This house was exactly what we needed! Our large group comfortably fit in all the rooms and the kitchen was perfect for meals/games/hang out area. There was also plenty of room to park our cars and one RV. RJ was very quick to respond to texts/calls and easy to work with when some minor problems came up. Our only complaint is the beds were a little hard. I would highly recommend booking this house if you are looking for a relaxing stay, lots of space and a gracious host.
We brought our 3 kids' families, and thete was plenty of space for 8 adults and 11 kids under 13. With 2 fridges and ice makers, large pantry, and 4 picnic tables we ate comfortably. We borrowed a couple small kayaks for the beach and enjoyed them.
I may not have read carefully enough to see that air conditioning was only in certain rooms, not central, but we made it work with large fans p

Our air conditioning units came after months of delays. It was a week before the season started so they won't be in until fall. The temperature is manageable if you put the existing units on full blast and keep the blinds drawn while everyone is at the beach. We'll be happy to have every bedroom properly equipped!

Perfect House for a Large Group!
This house is new to rental market and didn't have any reviews so I was nervous about booking it but I am glad I did! We have been renting houses at Bear Lake for our family reunion for over 10 years and this house has the best gathering space of any house we've stayed at. The living room is huge (with a great view of the lake!) and has a fabulous couch that easily seats 20 people. It was the perfect place to hang out, talk, play games or watch a movie. And there is a second family room in the basement with another great sectional for the kids or adults who want a break from the group. The kitchen is super well equipped and it was incredible to have enough table space to seat our entire group - this is the first house we've stayed in that truly had that. The beds were super comfortable and the bedding was all clean and cozy. The kids loved the bunk room and we all loved being able to walk down the hill and get right on the walking path. We will be back next year!
Owner called me a couple days ahead to make sure any questions were answered. Kind neighbors, great location close to the lake. Well labeled, fully stocked kitchen, with adequate dining seating for the group of 29. We cooked in every meal. Double oven and second refrigerator were very handy for our large group. The board games, large couches, and TVs were a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed the fire pit on two evenings. Lots of bath towels to help us clean up after a day at the lake. Some of our party were upset that the water heater is not equipped to handle showers for the whole group, and we could not locate a First Aid kit. The electrical never went out, but it flickered quite a bit. When the dryer started, the main level bath completely went out for a couple seconds. Only three private bedrooms, but we made it work. So many bunk beds! All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

Jillian, Thanks again for staying! We found out that the electrical issue was something not inside the home. Rocky Mountain Power fixed the problem but appreciate you letting us know about it!
My family consisting of 23 people ranging from 4 to 67 had a wonderful time at this property in Garden City.
The home is beautiful with a wonderful view of Bear Lake from the front porch to the windows in the kitchen and bedrooms. So many beds!! Our grandchildren loved the downstairs room with a ton of bunkbeds and a ping pong table along with a spacious room for hanging out and playing their electronic games on the large TV. There is also three sets of bunkbeds upstairs along with four more beds and lots of space.
Every bedroom was large enough for a couple to stay in and had plenty of room for luggage etc. The master bedroom is especially large with a bathroom that had plenty of drawer space to unpack all our toiletries plus more. There are bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths in every bathroom., and plenty more in storage to use.
The kitchen is stocked well and we had everything we needed. It was nice to have several full sets of dishes to use along with silverware and glasses. The double oven was wonderful for the busy morning breakfasts. There is a big pantry in the kitchen also with plenty of room to unpack food into. The best thing about the kitchen are the four tables to eat at, so much room for our entire family to gather there. Plenty of room for crafting etc.
The outdoor propane firepit was a total hit! No smoky smell, and the outdoor playground was a big hit for the grandkids.
We put a slip and slide on the slope on the side of the property and had so much fun! There is plenty of room in the front and back yards to play and run, we even had a water fight! Also, plenty of parking for multiple vehicles.
RJ was an amazing host, always answering questions promptly and very helpful. We have been renting VRBO for ten years now for our family reunion and RJ was the best host we have ever rented from.
I would definitely use this home again!
We had a family reunion. The location was perfect for Raspberry days and both marina and beach locations. There was plenty of room to sleep, eat, play games and have s’mores. The house was fully stocked with plenty of dishes for our group of 28. The owner was always able to be reached and gave us ample information to make our stay wonderful. We would definitely stay here again.
We had our whole family, all our children and grandchildren, 30 of us. Everyone had a great time. The house is well organized and clean. We were pleasantly surprised to find the fire pit was gas and that there were two small kayaks that the grandchildren loved to play on at the lake. Communication with RJ was great!
This property is perfect for a family reunion! The owners have thought of everything. So many bath towels, night lights and plenty of seating for meals. On top of that the yard is great and the view of the lake is spectacular. The host was super responsive and went above and beyond to answer questions. Would definitely stay again
it was everything that they said it would be. It was very clean and stocked well. The childred had a blast playing with the hulahoops. I hope we got them all gathered up and put back in their proper place. We also injoyed the fire pit, it was nice to sit around the fire and tell stories. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.
This was an excellent property to have a family gathering. It was the parents 50th Anniversary and it was perfect for all members of the family to gather of all ages.
Great people to rent from! Refrigerator went out and they had it replaced the next day. Always available for any questions. Easy to follow instructions for the house. Tons of room for large get togethers!
This was a great property to rent for multiple families. Plenty of beds for everyone. Loved the kitchen setting to accommodate all of us to eat together. Plenty of space to spread out. Beautiful view of Bear Lake and way close to everything. It’s an older home with some updates to be done at some point but it was very fun!!

About the host
Hosted by RJ Buchmiller
We love Bear Lake! We have been coming up here since we were born. Of course we didn't know each other back then but now we are happy to have a place to share with our family and you.
Why they chose this property
1. VIEWS. There are gorgeous views of the lake from all the windows and patios on the south, east and north sides of the house. 2. LOCATION. The house is just a couple blocks from the walking/biking path that runs through Garden City. It is an easy walk/bike ride to town for shakes or to the public beach access at the city park. Also walk down to the city pond and try to catch a few fish! 3. ROOMS. With 5 bedrooms and two bunk rooms, there are plenty of rooms for smaller family groups to have their own rooms and the loft is great place for the kids to hang out and sleep. 4. WELL APPOINTED. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything a large group needs. The furniture, bedding and towels are all new.
