The property itself is pretty good and in a great location. Had some troubles with certain amenities not matching what is in the listing. Ie: the downstairs has no ventilation, so only the main and upstairs levels have a/c. There were no beach towels, even though those were listed. Bring your own bath soap/shampoo, those are not provided. The host had provided multiple numbers to text, so communication was pretty confusing. Response time wasn’t ideal, but was same day. Overall, good place for the price, but I would’ve given a higher rating if things were well stocked/replenished, and if communication was better.

Thank you for your stay and feedback. Throughout a summer, items tend to disappear from the house. We had fans and beach towels, but apparently guests thought they needed to take them home with them. The beach was great at the time of year we were there 6-9 July 2026. Walking distance to the beach and the beach was not crowded. It was nice sand and mud, perfect for making castles on the beach. Hosts answered questions either by text or on the phone. One of the owners was out of the country part of the time and it took several weeks before they answered my text and voice message. Once I received the best ph. # to use they were great in responding.One thing we were not happy about was no bath soap or shampoo/conditioner was provided. We had to go to the nearest grocery store to purchase those items. Downstairs was warm and there was no air conditioning that we could tell. There was air conditioning on the main floor and upstairs. It would have been nice to have fans in the rooms. They did say we could open windows at night to cool it down.Over all it was a very nice 3 night stay and we would do it again.

Our host, Angela Sweep was great to work with. The place we stayed was in excellent condition. We had 20 people of all ages stay and they all enjoyed it there. Everything was stocked well, all the room's were clean, the kitchen was wonderful, and it was way family-friendly. The only thing that we felt bad about was on the letter sent to us and the guide book in the home it said there was fitness equipment, a hot tub, and a pool located at the Legacy Beach Club House. It gave the Legacy Beach Gate number and Code for the beach Club House. It also said there were arm bands in the guide book so we could have access to these things. We couldn't find the arm bands so we walked to the Club House to see if we could get the arm bands there. No one was there so we sent a message to Angela to see where to find the bands. We found out that the Beach Club House wasn't really a part of the deal for staying at the location. It should probably not be advertised if it's not really available. Our overall experience was great and we had a lot of fun as a family. Thanks for everything.

Great stay for family and friend get together

This home was perfect for our large end of summer family and friends get together. Plenty of room for us to be together when desired and to branch off into other areas in the home for smaller groups. We would definitely stay here again for our annual trip next year.

We absolutely love Bear Lake and enjoy spending many days in the summer boating and being with our friends and family. During the winter months we enjoy snowmobiling and skiing the deep snow that surrounds Garden city. We love Bear Lake so much we decided to purchase a home there ourselves that our family, friends and your families could enjoy.

Why they chose this property

We picked this property because we both have big families and wanted a place that would fit both families at once. It is within walking distance to the beach. It is also close to all the excitement and restaurants that Bear lake has to offer during the summer.

What makes this property unique

New home that is big enough to fit everyone's friends and family and yet close enough to the water and restaurants. Feel like you are close enough to town yet far enough away that no one will bother you.
