Great little getaway!

We had a great time staying at Bolton Bay. Chris was a fantastic host and the RV was comfortable with all the amenties. I would recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful spot that is close to town. We loved it!

Our stay at Bolton Bay was phenomenal. The host was so thoughtful. Fresh eggs and flowers when we arrived. We ordered the BBQ Smoked ribs which were fantastic and came with two delicious sides, just perfect for our first night.We stayed in two different accommodations during our visit. The Luxury RV which was gorgeous. And the Lakeview Cottage which had a huge deck, and fire pit right down by the bay. Highly recommend!

Beautiful location in the pines with the lake about a 5 minute walk. Park rapids is a 10 minute drive away. Definitely a peaceful environment! Chris was very available for any issues or questions.

An absolute great find. Very comfortable accommodations for our family (two adults, 2, 5, 10yo kids) and a great home base for exploring Itasca and right down the road from plenty of dining in Park Rapids. Chris was great and he offered a fantastic barbecue ribs meal (extra but worth it!) that was awesome. Already thinking about when we could visit again!

Private and peaceful and a great value

Chris was very accommodating and a wonderful host. We enjoyed the lake and the swim dock. Night time camp fires were enchanting. The spacious kitchen made preparing meals for 5 easy. Provided with necessary amenities for a relaxed and overall great stay. Highly recommend for budget conscious families wanting to get away and stay someplace nice.

Relaxing and quiet

Great experience. RV was clean and well stocked. We rented the paddle boat and pontoon and spent a lot of time on the lake which was beautiful and clear. Only left our site once to go into Dorset for dinner at the Pizza Parlour which was delicious. Would have liked to ride bikes on the Heartland Trail but ran out of time. Chris was great, responsive, and helpful. Thanks for a great weekend!

Clean, comfortable mancave

The owner, Chris, is very friendly and easy to work with. The RV itself is spacious, clean and comfortable. The mattress was surprisingly good. Even though I’m a woman, I thoroughly enjoyed this luxurious mancave!

Perfect Simple Getaway!

This was the perfect little spot for my husband and I to get away from the kids to celebrate our anniversary! Great location close to the cute city of Park Rapids, and Itaska state park! The lake was gorgeous! The RV was very clean and Chris was very quick to answer any questions for us as we were new to staying in an RV. The modern conveniences made a little getaway the perfect place to stay and still enjoy the out doors! Will definitely be returning!

Relaxing weekend!

Very nice property! Upscale camper very accommodating for family of 4. Great open view to lake with good access to dock. Quiet, relaxing, secluded but within 5 minutes from Park Rapids. Great stay, would highly recommend!

Fun, cozy, comfortable, definitely would go again

Super great! Clean and spacious, it’s an RV but really upscale. Comfy couches and chairs, lovely fireplace that did a great job making the place coZy as it got pretty cold. The gift card for Foxy’s was a great addition, we enjoyed a great experience. Glad the tv and fireplace worked so well because the weather was crappy. Would absolutely recommend it and would return.
