Luxury Somerset 409, Recently Remodeled!!!

Recently renovated unit that easily stands out from other 2 bedroom units in the area! Don't settle on your next vacation, choose a unit that's made the upgrades you want, but still has the relaxed beach feel you travel this way for. Breath taking views of the Gulf of America with private access to the beach. The building offers two gulf front community heated pools, gulf front community BBQ grills (charcoal), tennis courts, pickleball courts, underground assigned parking, bike storage, lobby and a gym. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available in units storage room. Walking distance to restaurants and much more. Concierge check in and localized management.

Please be aware that after we accept your booking request, you will be receiving an email from The Somerset association for you to fill out their HOA form. This form has a non refundable fee of $150.

During May 1 - October 31 Renters see below in regards to Turtle Season

"Lessee [or substitute “Tenant” or “Renter” for “Lessee” everywhere that word appears in this paragraph, based on the term used in your Lease] acknowledges and understands that the period from May 1 through October 31 each year is Sea Turtle Nesting Season. Lessee agrees to Turn Off balcony lights before 9:00 p.m. and to close the drapes or window treatments of all windows facing the Gulf to minimize the projection of interior lights as any such lights may disorient an adult or newly hatched Sea Turtle. Lessee understands that the Turtles are endangered and protected by Federal Law. Substantial fines can be levied against the occupant/owner by law enforcement for violations of ordinances protecting Turtles. Lessee agrees to reimburse Owner for payment of the Fines imposed for violations during Lessee’s occupancy and for the reasonable legal defense costs incurred."

Host was great, had a few hiccups tho 1 with washing machine and could have used more water and wine glasses. Also it was a mystery to operate the TV. Finally just streamed from my phone and I Pad. However, when an issue arose it was handled promptly efficiently.

Beautiful oceanfront getaway

We absolutely LOVED our stay at this beautiful condo. It was immaculately clean (and I’m a neat freak) and stocked with everything we needed for the week, from bath and beach towels, to sheets, to beach chairs and boogie boards, to kitchen supplies. The view was unbeatable and we loved the automatic blinds opening up to the unobstructed view of the gulf each morning. The pool was lovely, and with all of the security requiring key fobs to enter, we felt very safe. The property manager was very attentive and check in/out was a breeze. Would love to stay again someday and would highly recommend to others.

Great Condo steps to Gulf

Very clean condo that has all the amenities you would need for your stay. A well equipped kitchen, good beach towels and linens and the locker is full of beach chairs, boogie boards and a collapsable cabana. Definitely will return.

Great location. Only comment - when we asked for more dishwasher soap and toilet paper we were advised only a "starter" amount is provided - which was 3 days. For the price of renting, I would recommend supplies be for the length of stay.

We knew the Summerset was a great location - on the beach, close to restaurants and shops - but the unit itself far exceeded our expectations. Clean, big, great view, great pool, washer/dryer, all what’s needed on the beach, great balcony, etc. I can go on and on. Simply put, I’d highly recommend this property.

Great sunsets! Great condo!

I has been over 15 years since my family and I have been to Marco Island and Somerset. The beach and sunsets were as beautiful as we remembered. The unit was very clean, comfortable and stocked with all that we needed. Kurt and Katalina were very easy to deal with. The one issue that we had was dealt with very quickly. We will definitely not wait another 15 years to return and we will definitely be returning to Somerset. Thank you for making our vacation that much more memorable.

Nice Location/ Lots of space

The location was great- right on beach with great balcony. Walking to many places from property was very convenient. The property had everything needed for stay- except supplies of anything- need to buy garbage bags, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent etc…. The beds were old/dated as were the linens, towels were old and dingy- had to buy my own. Elevator had warning that it was faulty and ride at own risk- so a lot of stairs. Overall place was very nice- but could have been made much nicer with very little investment.

Marco Memories

The property and view were great. We had to change units a couple of weeks out due to painting going on at the South Tower. We were assured the refund process and payment would transfer seamlessly except that the damage insurance did not and it cost us an extra $39. The Property managers were very communicative but said they couldn’t do anything about it and that we had to go through customer service ay VRBO. When we checked in and entered the unit, the exterior door knob came off in our hand. There were also cockroaches darting across the family room, the kitchen counter, coming out of the dishwasher area, and the guest bathroom. We reported the issues on day 2 of our 7 night stay. We were told the Property HOA would have to take care of the bugs. I get that it is Florida but no one responded. The response to the door handle was that the property managers would “handle” the door knob right away. They never did and we struggled to close the door several times per day as we were in and out for a wedding trip. It was annoying, having to use the key to pull the door closed and having the handle drop to the floor. It was a worn set screw problem that could have been fixed with Allen keys which we did not have with us. All in all, the view and accommodations were what we wanted. The addition of a dresser to the guest room would help as there was no place in there to set out your things. The master was great.

We instantly fell in love with our beautiful condominium, here at The Somerset. Our condominium is filled with beach themed photography and decorations, which makes everyday feel like a vacation. Not only do we love having our morning coffee with the breathtaking beach front view, we also love the variety of amenities offered.

When deciding where to purchase our condominium, Marco Island was really a no-brainer. The island is a close-knit, family-oriented community, making you feel right at home wherever you go. Not only is the condominium walking distance from many local restaurants, putt-putt golf, and the local movie theater, but the island takes great pride in its reputation as one of the safest cities in Florida.
