Please read our reviews, people LOVE our home!!! Beautiful Cabin in Tahoe Donner, located in desirable lower portion of neighborhood for quick access to Truckee, skiing, hiking and Donner Lake. Master Bedroom with King bed and private bath, Downstairs bedroom with Trundle Bed (sleeps 2) and desk for remote workers, upstairs bedroom with Queen bed, upstairs bedroom with 2 bunk beds sleeps 4. Game room upstairs with flat panel TV/DVD & foosball table for kids play area, downstairs Roku Smart TV/Soundbar. Fast Wireless Internet access.
Big decks front & back, High-top table seats 6, BBQ grill, lounge chairs.
Very comfortable home, gentle sloping south exposure driveway (makes a big difference in winter). Snow Removal during winter included. Backs up to a beautiful green belt for extra privacy and space!
Each rental comes with 6 guest passes for TD amenities, which have black out dates for most holiday weekends or weekdays. The amenities charge pass holders to use them.

Please, no FULL ski- season leasing inquires, as we do not rent it for the season.

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful mountain home. It was clean, very comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. We like to cook and found all of the utensils we needed in the kitchen. All of the beds were super comfortable and we all had great night sleeps. The house is close to Donner Lake, so we got a beach day and it was wonderful. We took our dog and she loved being here with us also. Thank you again for a wonderful stay, we plan to come back again!!

Our two families had a truly wonderful stay! The home was exceptionally clean, well-stocked, and comfortable throughout. Even when the snow and rain made the roads too treacherous to travel, we were more than happy to stay tucked away inside. There were plenty of things to do in the home that kept everyone entertained—the foosball table and the winter jigsaw puzzle were huge hits with the kids! We would definitely love to stay here again.

This was our second time staying at this property. Great location, close drive to downtown Truckee, Groceries, and Ski Resorts. The house is well kept and comfortably slept 4 adults and 5 kids (8-12). The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals for the family. We enjoyed playing in the snow in the backyard and hanging by the wood burning fire place in the evening. The host is friendly and great communicator. We will book again in the future.

Wonderful house for our family of 10 dog. The house was comfortable and cozy with a wood burning stove and plenty of wood in the garage. The kitchen while compact was easy to cook in with lots of equipment. The large windows though partially obscured with snow due to a 10 foot snow storm, brought in plenty light. Would highly recommend and may return to it next winter.

Fun family trip

Had a blast in Tahoe Donner! The Mougle house was great. Clean, comfortable beds, very well stocked kitchen even with tin foil and plastic wrap which most VRBOs don't stock and a mostly flat backyard woods for the young kids to play. They loved the foosball and game closet. Thankyou for a great stay!

This is our beloved second home that has been meticulously maintained. We bought it because it backs up to a greenbelt and is full of pine trees. Our children grew up spending both summer and winter weekends and vacations here. They now bring their adult friends here to enjoy all that this house and this area has to enjoy. It is a year round community where there is always something to do. We live in Sierra Foothills and come to the Truckee/Tahoe region whenever we can to enjoy the snow, get away from the heat, or want to spend fun and memorable times with friends and family! We are from the East Coast and LOVE that our summer vacations NEVER get get ruined by rain here!

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with the Tahoe/Truckee area after we moved to California almost 25 years ago. We love Tahoe Donner because it is quieter and less crowded than many of the other areas. The natural beauty of our property brings peace and joy to us every time we come up here. Tahoe Donner so has many amenities that we chose to buy here instead of other areas.

What makes this property unique

We fell in love with the back deck and the backyard that is full of trees and backs up to a greenbelt. We loved that it was 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, AND a bonus room. Because of the house layout we have been able to host 2 other families and their children at the same time comfortably on many occasions.

Tahoe Donner has many accessible and pet friendly trails. Enjoy them all year long! Please see the Tahoe Donner site for details on trails and accessibility.
