Beautiful area with amazing hiking trails . I was turned off by the "old: smell upon entering, There is a large clock in the living area that is inoperable , absolutely no television . Despite these issues , I enjoyed my stay with the family.

I am sorry if that was missed. I understand if you are expecting a certain amenity. The antique clock is for aesthetics, and is a family heirloom. We have the digital clocks in the kitchen for use. This worked out perfectly for the three of us, all Seniors. While the 96yo didn't go hiking to the ponds nor cypress cathed

As the host says, there is no cell reception at the house and the DSL wifi is very weak so don't expect to be online much. Enjoy your time at the beautiful Mendocino Coast.

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was peaceful and quiet, the meadows were a perfect way to start the morning, and we were just a few minutes from Mendocino and several beaches. Everything was provided except food of course. The house was well stocked with all the kitchen gear, towels, and linens. There was even shampoo and conditioner and soap provided, which was perfect because I forgot mine and didn't have to make a trip to the store. The fridge, stove, washer and dryer, and heating all worked great.There are 3 cabins on the property which would make for a great family retreat, each cabin is still secluded from eachother in between bushes and trees, but just a short walk away too. We stayed in the biggest at the end of the drive. Peter was very responsive throughout the whole process. I had no worries. We would definitely stay again.

Redwood adventure

This home is a great place to stay if you are wanting to explore the redwoods like us. The property is beautiful and we were able to enjoy several family hikes without having to drive! The house had everything our family needed to make a meal at home. The area was great with so much to see and do! We wish we had more time to see it all!

Perfect place to stay

The house had everything we needed for our stay. It was comfortable and clean and the property was incredible. You're out in the woods and there are banana slugs just about everywhere you walk, so watch out! That being said, it's worth it to see all of the beautiful scenery. I'd happily return in the future.

Cabin was spacious and comfortable and location was convenient. We enjoyed the trails on the property and the kids especially enjoyed the games and the abundance of banana slugs. The turn off is hard to see but the directions were very clear and helpful.

This is a perfect place to stay in Mendocino! It's a beautiful property and the house offers everything you could need unless you're looking for a TV. I prefer to read so it's not a problem for me at all. Wifi is available found other options. It's close to beautiful beaches and just enough off the road to have a little privacy without feeling too in the middle of nowhere. This was my second visit and it won't be my last.
