Walk out your front door to the "singing sands" of the Lake Superior shoreline and watch the best sunsets this world has to offer!
This 3 bedroom home is located on the sandy shore of AuTrain Bay on Lake Superior. Located just minutes from the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and AuTrain Lake!

This rental features:

- 3 bedrooms: Master bedroom with King overlooking Lake Superior. Bedroom 1: queen bed. Bedroom 2- Queen Bed. Bonus Basement with a Queen and Full/Twin Bunkbed.
2.5 bathrooms. Shower/tub unit and half bath upstairs with full shower unit downstairs off of bonus room in basement

This was a wonderful place to spend time with our extended family, lots of privacy and splendid beach front. Next time I hope you can heat up Lake Superior a little bit since the water was quite cold :-)

Marquette Marathon Getaway

Very clean. Lovely water view. Lake Superior was so calm the days we were there. Brought our paddle board along and was able to enjoy the chilly water this hot weekend. Great place to stay in between Ishpeming and Marquette for the marathon. Love the Green Bay packers fire ring out on the beach 💚💛. Roomy enough for all 10 of us. Would definitely stay here again!

The property was beautiful and had a huge stretch of uninterrupted shoreline. The beach was gorgeous and made the stay. The pictures don’t show how much room there is to play and enjoy outside. There was no/limited drainage in the household. The upstairs shower didn’t drain and held water when taking a shower. The water is also very hard. Showering doesn’t seem to cleanse and leaves orange residue on your skin. This isn’t a problem at the neighboring property. Overall, the property was great and we enjoyed our stay!!

Great family vacation

Great family vacation. No issues sleeping 11 people. One was in a pack n’ play. Plenty of space. Great access to beach with fire pit and chairs. Private, sandy beach. Kitchen fully stocked. Beach and bath towels provided. Nice deck overlooking lake also with plenty of chairs. One bedroom was missing a curtain over the window on the door but we improvised and made one. Close enough to drive to everything and far enough away to be quiet. Would absolutely stay again, highly recommend.

Family reunion

The property was nice, but appeared ‘more tired, worn out’ than the pictures. The floors all felt gritty and sandy. And the weather was not cooperative, it was very windy, the waves were huge, and we could not spend any time by the water.(No fault of anyone!). But because of the weather, we did have quality time visiting with siblings and spouses. The space in the house was perfect for sitting around the table, or in the living room and chatting. We did enjoy our time at the rental house.

Wonderful family weekend

Wow! The UP is beautiful in October. We had 10 adults in the house. My husband and I and eight 20 somethings (children with spouses and significant others). Everyone had enough space and comfortable beds. I rent houses frequently and nothing bothers me more than when the listing says "sleeps 10" but that means futons and rollaway beds. Everyone had plenty of space and a comfortable bed. The beach was beautiful. It may have been a little chilly on an October evening, but we still managed to have a bonfire and s'mores every night. We would definitely return.

Beach house stay

Overall the adults were disappointed when we arrived. It was not the same as the posted photos and this property is older and it shows through as a general air of shabbiness. We left a list of 12 things that were broken and needed fixing from a constantly running toilet to a dishwasher soap dispenser that didn’t work to broken legs on the coffee table. The beach was wonderful but the house is so close to the busy highway that the constant traffic noise was loud and prevented us from opening up windows at night if we wanted to get any sleep. A good spot for kids to have some beach fun but definitely not worth what we paid for the week.

Outstanding beachfront location & accommodations!

We and our daughter’s family, (children aged 6 mos to 14 years), had a great 5 day mini-vacation spending 8-10 hours on the beautiful beach every day. House is a spacious 3 bedroom with extra sleeping accommodations in basement, 2 1/2 baths, fully-equipped & stocked kitchen with 8 seat dining room table & large living room/great room with wall-to-wall windows giving a great view of the beach & Lake Superior. Large fridge, modern electric stove/oven, dishwasher, new washer & dryer all included. Easy access to a virtually private beach via large deck. The gently sloping shore and sandbar allowed even small children to safely walk out into the clear water. Provided beach chairs, BBQ, firepit and firewood are a very nice touch. Saw a number of bald eagles fly right over us on the beach. Only minutes from the Pictured Rocks National Forest with well-maintained trails leading to amazing views of several waterfalls. Well water quality not great but OK for showers. (Water softener and/or iron remover would be nice).

Great Location on Au Train Bay! WiFi very poor

House is right on water, great location! Enough room for all the 8 family members. Thought we will have a gas grill on deck (per pictures) but it was small charcoal grill. Property could be better maintained. T-Mobile signal was spotty, but in house Wifi signal was poor.

Spacious home with great location

We had a great stay at the Beach House. The home was very spacious and the direct beach access with fire pit was amazing. The location was also great, being less than 15 minutes from Munising and around 30 minutes from Pictured Rocks & Marquette. The primary issues were the downstairs bathroom toilet wasn't functional for most of our stay, the wifi was not very reliable, and the water did not appear to be consumable due to a yellow tint. Overall, the Beach House was a really good choice.

Enjoyed the family time on the beach. Great location to enjoy the Pictured Rocks. Spacious place with a nice deck and plenty of room on the beach. We had three families and our kids. Fires on the beach. Games with the kids. Wonderful way to enjoy the UP.

We had a great stay with 2 families of 5. The pros: location is great, the beach is awesome, there’s ample outdoor chairs, a nice fire pit on the beach, the beach is sandy & super nice, lots of beds for everyone to sleep in. The owners were super responsive, answered tons of questions in advance & connected us with all our local options for the things we wanted to do. The cons: the house itself could use a refresh, the toilet paper and towel holders were missing in most of the bathrooms (owners were notified and did offer to send maintenance over to fix so maybe this happened right before we checked in). The stone steps to the beach are difficult to navigate. The deck was dirty, the appliances are older, the furniture has seen better days. Overall we had a great stay!

Great location!

On the shore of Superior, half way between Muinising and Marquette, this property is clean and comfortable. It is close to waterfalls and hiking. The fireplace does not work but that didn’t stop us from having fires on the beach.

Beautiful site!

My parents joined my husband and I and our six children, ages ranging from 1-10, for a week at this property. While some listings may oversell the house or location, this was not the case at all with this site. The house was lovely and more spacious than even pictured! The kitchen was well-stocked, the fire pit a great inclusion, the lake views gorgeous, and the beach outstanding. Everyone had plenty of room, but wanted to spend all day on the beach anyway. We rented kayaks and SUP from Erin as well and they were a huge hit, and we appreciated them delivering to us! We were unfamiliar with Pictured Rocks before this trip, but after quick visits to Miner Falls and Miner Castle, we all definitely want to see more. This was the perfect getaway and we look forward to returning in the future! Thank you for renting to us!

The beach house is amazing ! We loved everything about it. There was plenty of space for our family of 11 it really does feel like home. So much we didnt want to leave... Private Beautiful views close to all the attractions. The book with history of the home really did add that special touch😊

First time to the UP and this was a wonderful, central place to stay!

The Beach House is true to it's advertising. The kitchen, bathrooms, deck, bedrooms are all more than sufficient and spacious! We had three couples in the group and all three couples had their own space and their own bathrooms. The deck and the beach and bonfire pit were my favorite part - felt like I was in Florida! Erin was VERY responsive and VERY considerate of our requests. Thank you for everything Erin!

Fabulous Stay!

Everything about our stay was fabulous, from the booking, communication, check-in, to the house and location and the check-out. Erin was extremely responsive to questions, helpful for things to do and assisted with a kayak booking. The house was absolutely perfect! Lots of space, clean, well stocked with things needed, and the location on the beach amazing. The beach was sandy and wide, with an amazing fire pit and exquisite views of the sunrise and sunset. It’s perfectly located to visit areas of interest such as pictured rock. I would highly recommend this property, and we look forward to staying again. Thanks Erin for a wonderful vacation!
