Wonderful property at Bridgett’s Landing. Great location and the house had everything we needed! Was our first time staying at Lake Sunapee, but won’t be our last!
The neighborhood was charming and the neighbors were all very friendly. I loved how a quick walk brought you down to the town dock where you can relax by the water! Thanks you for a wonderful and relaxing weekend away!
We rented 2 houses in Blodgetts landing, rented a speedboat and spent a fabulous week on the lake , swimming from the very friendly main dock, and enjoying dinners together; cooked and enjoyed at our “home”. There was everything we needed for just living and for feeding a crew. The warm home made it a memorable experience.

Cute house, friendly host
The house itself is charming. It's updated with modern appliances and all the kitchen tools you need for a stay away from home. The interior showcases lovely furniture and decor suitable for a lake house, and it's full of games and books for idle afternoons, of which we had many. (It rained the entire time we were there.) Some downsides include the packed-in houses that make up Blodgett's Landing. Though people are extremely friendly, we felt a bit like living in a fish bowl. We were disappointed with the "beach," which consisted of a stone dock with sand on it. Other downsides were tons of food in the fridge, leftover toiletries, and ants.

Sorry about the food in the fridge - we usually leave the condiments & salad dressings. Did you ever check out the 2nd beach area? It’s to the right of the house, 5 min walk. Bummer about the weather!
We were a group of cyclists from college on fall break and were impressed with the place. There was plenty of space for sleeping many people, kitchen tools abound, and a good open space for games or chatting. The driveway was able to accommodate 2 suvs and a pickup truck, all with bike racks. We used the 2 provided kayaks for a boating outing and the grill for a barbecue; all worked very well and a great time was had by all. My only complaints: toilet paper was scarce, but we texted the landlady and she promptly brought some, the Wi-Fi was spotty and could barely accommodate 8 people (cellular data is non-existent at the location), and finally checkout was a titch early at 10am, which tired college cyclists grumbled about. Overall an excellent place and the cycling nearby is good, so we'll definitely consider returning in future fall breaks!
This house was perfect for our trip to lake sunapee. It was walking distance to the public dock on the lake. The house was clean and had e writhing we needed.
The Blodgett's Landing property was perfect for a couple nights while I was at a wedding at Mount Sunapee. The house is well kept and charming - I really liked the wooden countertops in the bathroom and kitchen. The overall feel is a classic lakehouse with modern amenities. There are two levels of porches on the house; the upper level is connected to a large bedroom where I had first dibs and slept. I loved keeping the door open to the porch, with screen shut, and running a fan to blow cool, mountain air into the room during nights. I was also able to use this room as an office for a couple business calls. The house is not on the lake, but a quick walk brings you to a public dock with lake and mountain views. My only regret is that I did not have much time to spend on the property due to the wedding. I highly recommend this home for those looking for easy access to Mount Sunapee and also want access to Lake Sunapee, one of the premier lakes in NH. And, at 1.5 hours from Boston, this location cannot be beat.

Thank you Jeremy! I’m so glad you enjoyed your stay.
5 friends needed a beautiful place to hang out after covid 19. Here we found beauty and solitude. Weather was yucky so We didn’t get to use the lake. The lake looked very clean.
We utilized the covered porch for everything.
Stayed on a weekend trip to the Sunapee area with my kids and in-laws. Property was clean, well-appointed, and located in a very nice lakeside neighborhood, with a wonderful public dock just steps away. Owner made logistics as breeze. Thanks.
This is a nice little community that is relaxing and friendly. The public dock is perfect for cannon balls and playing on the small beach. The rental was well equipped and close to everything. Mt Sunapee has activities too. The Fells is a nice little hike plus Mt Kearsarge is nearby too. Would do this again.
We needed a place that could fit 8 people as this was a special family vacation to celebrate our son's remission from cancer. This house was perfect. It fit all 8 of us comfortably and was very nice. We loved the neighborhood and close proximity to the lake. It was nice to be able to walk to the water. We also liked that we could take day trips. Although I did not get a chance to met her, Eileen was very helpful and the whole process of renting the house was super easy. Was a perfect vacation.

SO happy you enjoyed your stay! And I didn’t know about your son, may he be happy & healthy from here on out.
We have stayed in Blogetts Landing the last 10 years and this was the first time staying at this home and it was AMAZING. It’s absolutely beautiful inside and out, very spacious and airy, super clean and in an absolute amazing location! The bathrooms and kitchen were huge which is rare in the cottages in Blogetts. The walk to the lake is a piece of cake and you are in close proximity to the harbor and New London. I can’t recommend this cottage enough and we can’t wait to be back next summer! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!
