This was suppose to be a getaway for myself, wife and grandkids. We had a medical emergency so it was the grandkids, their Mom( our daugther in law) They had so much fun. Alamanor is number one on our list each year and this short getaway was great.
Comfortable stay in a nice and cozy cabin near the lake. Games, deck of cards, and books would have been a nice addition being other VRBO rentals usually have them. Wife says a few more dish towels would have been helpful. We found the bed a little hard for our older bodies. The TVs and heating/AC unit worked great. Really loved being close to the water and the beautiful evening lake views, especially with a full moon. Guests need to bring their canoe or kayak.
First time I ever rented a cabin. Loved it! Everything we needed was there. Kitchen appliances, pots, pans, dishes, soap, paper towels, toilet paper, bedding. As stated 1 minute walk to lake. Would rent again.
Great place to stay! We enjoyed how close it was to the water, we had our own slip and boat ramp, hosts very very friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.

Nice property, could have used a more thorough cleaning, dust under couch and beds. Noticed cooking pots were sloughing non stick material into our meals. Clint very accommodating told us to leave pots out when we left and he would get new ones. The door knob on front door fell off but we were able to get it back on. Grass area was very nice. Short walk to the water. Perfect bay to kayak with calm water. The lake was empty of boats, Kayaked out to the tip of peninsula and did not see one other boat. Very relaxing visit except for Clint running the leaf blower to blow all the pine needles. I guess it was that time of year. As we were leaving they were redoing the asphalt getting ready for winter I guess. We felt like we were in their way.
Very nice, warm and cozy cabin next to the lake. Hosts were fantastic and attentive. I recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a fun and beautiful spot to relax. We enjoyed visiting Lassen NP near by plus viewing a million billion stars
We had a great stay at this cabin. Great location. Perfect for our family of 3. Check in process was smooth and Karen/Clint were responsive to any needs. Would definitely stay again

Lovely cabin, convenient location. Great to have boat slip.
The cabin is clean and comfortable and in a great location. We enjoyed sitting on the front deck and listening to the geese flying over and watching them land on the lake! The beds are located right under a window, so you can let the fresh air in at night. We would stay again.
Nice cozy cabin. Great place to stay if you have a boat since they have their own launch ramp and private slip assigned to your cabin. And a great restaurant and market right across the street.
We loved this cabin (#3)! Four of us ladies stayed here for several nights and we appreciated how light and bright the cabin was. Looks like it was fairly recently redone and had plenty of room for us to cook and eat at the table in the kitchen.
Great location, close to everything market & restaurant right across the street. My friends and I had a great time cabins were clean & just the right size for a weekend getaway.
My husband and I rented this cabin so we could attend our Grandson's wedding nearby. The hosts Karen and her husband Clint greeted us when we arrived. Clint spent time and showed us how to use the lockbox. and answered our questions. Cabin 3 is very cozy and after a few minutes felt like home. Fully equipped kitchen included a Keurig machine which came in handy. The property had homey touches on the walls and in the rooms. The living room had comfortable seating for 5 people and a large flat screen TV and numerous streaming choices as well as live TV. Both bedrooms were equipped with smaller flatscreens suited to the size of the room. The cabin had a split HVAC system in both bedrooms and in the living room--since they provide heat and A/C it made it very comfortable our entire trip. The bathroom had nice tile in both the shower and the toilet area. The deck out front was welcoming with comfortable patio furniture and views of the lake. You won't be disappointed if you pick this as your vacation choice and we are hoping we can rent Cabin 3 in the future if we should visit the area again.Parking was great with 2 clearly marked parking spaces per cabin and this was a very quiet area which was exactly what we had hoped for.
