Lovely and quiet property, excellent location pub across the road, what more can you ask for. Peter the host was very welcoming and made sure everything we needed was at hand.Would recommend to anyone.Craig
Well located for us , in between Aylesbury and Milton Keynes . Accommodation was far better than expected , bed in particular very comfy . Entertainment system was brilliant . Met both Rachal and Pete very friendly and helpful .
Clean, warm and well-equipped the cottage had everything we needed for our stay, and more. Situated in a peaceful village with an interesting history (visit the church) the cottage was lovely to return to after visiting places nearby.
Having stayed here before we knew what to expect & were not disappointed. Great location for visiting many attractions, towns etc within a reasonable distance.

Hi Andrew. Thank you for taking the time to write a response- glad you enjoyed your second stay!
We enjoyed a wonderful week here in the beautiful Buckingham countryside. Rachel and Peter are wonderful hosts and their property is stunning. Highly recommend!
Very clean, well-kept cottage. Convenient parking in driveway and great communication with the owner. Limited options in restaurants within walking distance as the pub across the street is only open on select days of the week. Otherwise, had a great stay!
This property is beautiful. The owners are lovely people. I will definitely stay there again. Great wee place in a tranquil setting.

Hi David and Sarah
Thank you for taking the time to write a review - and for leaving the cottage so spotless! Best of luck with your house move. Rachel
Well situated for Bletchley Park, NT properties and more. Quiet and comfortable to return to after a day out. A part time pub opposite but with no food this summer. Luckily the village shop is well stocked.
Lovely little cottage, very clean and cosy. Friendly hosts. Really ejoyed being able to relax in the peace and quiet. Would definitely recommend this place
Ideally located in the village with local community shop and pub (make sure you book well in advance if you want to eat in the pub). The cottage is beautiful with exposed beams and comfy sofa’s. There is so much to do nearby, Claydon House, Bletchley Park, Stowe, Waddesdon. The small town of Buckingham nearby has a great butchers/deli Smith & Clay who also do hot breakfast to takeaway or eat in the Courtyard. Follow Mathew’s Way walk from the village to see some stunning countryside and if you like horses check our what’s going on at Addington equine centre 10 minutes up the road.
The hosts were delightful and shared a wealth of information regarding the history of the cottage and area. The cottage was perfect for our stay and the town was adorable. Our only complaint was that we did not get to stay longer. I would absolutely stay there again.
Whoever put everything together in this cottage didn’t miss anything out. Every room was neat and clean and contained all the things we needed. Beautiful setting, superb cottage.
