The Lombard cabin is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home that sits on the sandy north shore of AuTrain Lake. Located just two miles away from Lake Superior this rental is perfect for your 4-season-getaway! Explore Pictured Rocks National Lake Shore, enjoy the beach and lake with the kids, fish from one of our rental boats, use the traditional wood-burning sauna, make s'mores by the fire, hike the Hiawatha National Forest, paddle the AuTrain River or snowmobile from your front door!

This rental features:
- 2 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 with a Queen bed and the 2nd with two full beds
- 1 bathroom. shower/tub unit
- 2000 sq ft
- Full kitchen (pots, pans, dishes, silverware,full size range & refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, etc
- Large front deck overlooking AuTrain Lake
- Beautiful PRIVATE sand beach and swim area

- Dock (shared with Lombard Lodge)

We provide all bed linens and can provide your towels upon request. We also include the first round of paper products. You will want to bring your personal items toiletries, and perishables!

With this cabin you also can utilize the beach front property on AuTrain Lake (Northwoods Resort). There is a beautiful sand beach for swimming, canoes/kayaks & boats with motors for rent, and a sauna.

This was exactly what we were looking for with an incredible view and photo opportunities everywhere we went. Close to pictured rocks cruise, recommend, and kimar fishing charters. So good we had to leave a few bags in the freezer. Hope they were appreciated

Au Train cabin review

This was a wonderful cabin at a great location! We loved the private sandy beach, renting kayaks which we used on Au Train Lake and the beach near the blinking lights. Stars were amazing there! Cabin had ample space for 4 adults and 2 kids. The porch was a great addition with nice table to play games and look at the view. We enjoyed making campfires each night.

The place was great, 20 min drive from pictured rocks ferry. There is no phone reception in the area though, the place does have wifi.
