Beautiful cabin with great mountain views. All the amenities with a very personal feel. Nicely decorated for Christmas. Cindy was kind and accessible for questions
We celebrated Christmas at the cabin. It was a great place to have quality family time. Lots to do to keep everyone entertained. Cindy was very good at communicating with us. I would highly recommend if you want a clean and well accommodated place to stay to relax or have a day filled with activity. We are a family of 10 with ages ranging from 76 down to 7. Everyone had fun.
I can’t say enough good things about Cindy and her beautiful home and property. The cabin is beautifully decorated and so cozy! Everything you could possibly want or need is included. The scenery of the mountains is so peaceful and just what we needed. Thank you, Cindy! We hope to be back soon! Beth
Spent a weekend here for a birthday getaway and had an excellent time! The hot tub + mountain view was definitely a highlight and very relaxing. The tiki bar and pool table were also hits with my group.
We cooked all our meals here, making use of the kitchen and grill with no issues.
We met Cindy's 2 golden retrievers. They were very friendly and equally fluffy!
The only hiccup in our trip was that Google Maps doesn't route you to the actual driveway so you'll need to keep an eye out for the gravel entrance when you get close.
Coopers Cabin was perfect size for our family to gather for an early Christmas. We came from Ohio, WV, VA and SC so the location was perfect. The bedrooms were good size and the beds comfortable. The back deck was probably our favorite place to hang out. Grill handy on back porch which we did use. The cabin is located just a few miles from Buchanan and less than 10 miles to Blue Ridge for hiking. Overall, the cabin was clean, safe, very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. We would definitely recommend Coopers Cabin and we all hope to come back again.
I rented Cooper's Cabin for myself, my 2 brothers, my nephew, his wife, 2 sons and his golden retriever. The cabin was absolutely gorgeous. The cabin is very spacious without alot of room for the kids to play. The hot tub was the hit for 2 of the 3 days we stayed there. Cindy is an amazing host that is readily available any time you need help. The 2 goldens at the house off the driveway greeted us every time we drove by, awesome puppies. We will definitely stay there again when we come back to Roanoke.
My husband, myself, and our 17 year old twin daughters stayed for a week at this beautiful cabin. We had an amazing time and truly enjoyed the peace abd serenity of the mountains! Cindy was very easy to keep in contact with and even brought her Goldens over on our last day to meet us!
We enjoyed the size and location of the property. We used it as a base to hike the Appalachian Trail. We were very comfortable there. The host Cindy, was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Thanks for everything!
Perfect "cabin" and property for our 8 family members and two dogs for a week-long vacation. Cooper's Cabin was impeccably clean and comfortable with amenities the three generation-family enjoyed: cookout at wood burning fire pit, sunsets by propane fire pit, hot tub, pool tournament, wonderful expansive private grounds for dogs and kids to play. This property is well situated for exploring nearby sites and hiking. Lots of wonderful family memories were made at Cooper's Cabin.
Such a warm and welcoming home and spectacular views! Communication with the host is excellent. We're very glad to recommend Cooper's Cabin for a most delightful stay!
The cabin is beautiful and sits by itself on top of a hill. The views from the cabin are amazing. You're also just a very short drive from some local restaurants and stores. The attractions at Natural Bridge are about 20 minutes away so a very easy commute. Buchanan VA is a beautiful little town and very peaceful. My family and I loved our stay and will visit again someday. Cindy made everything very easy with the check-in, check-out process and was a wonderful host.
Beautiful property with amazing views! We loved looking at the stars from the deck. Cabin was spacious with plenty of room for all seven of us. Wonderful cozy cabin in a great location. Thanks for a fantastic weekend!
We love the outdoors, bonfires, and the beautiful mountains! I grew up in the area and love our small town! I worked in Sales for 38 years for some great local companies! The Cabin was finished in 2006 and we made this beautiful log home our retreat for my Son and our sweet Golden Retriever, (which the cabin is named for) Cooper! It is a perfect get- away for couples, families and friends. I hope you will enjoy our property as much as we do.!! Relaxing and secluded, this property will not leave you disappointed! We want to make you feel like you are at home, just without the stress of work or life events! I have loved this home and look forward to having you here!
Why they chose this property
This property is special, I grew up on this 140 acre farm. It was passed down for generations, and we were able to begin building in 2004. It was completed and moved in around 2006. A lot of hard work went into building this home. We have worked to maintain the warm, home feel! This quaint small town is a great area for relaxing, fun, and great restaurants!!
What makes this property unique
The property is very secluded, but close to fun activities! Beautiful mountain views make the property a unique find!
