Cottage near Mont Saint Michel with 1 hectare garden. Granville Avranches

Former 18th century bakery renovated into an eco-gîte, located between Granville, Avranches and Villedieu les Poêles, not far from Mont Saint Michel, 15 km from the beaches and 1 hour from the landing beaches.

The cottage offers you the charm of old stones and the comfort of its modern facilities in a one hectare garden including many collectible plants.

The cottage is located in the quiet countryside in a teeming garden which access is completely free for our guests.

All amenities are 5 minutes away (supermarket, bakeries, butcher, caterer, pharmacy, doctors, post office, bank, garage .... etc.).

Garden furniture, deckchairs, hammocks are available.
Children's games (trampoline, slide, swing) are free under the supervision of parents.

The bedding is of great quality to offer restful sleep: a large motorized bed of 180 x 190 cm and two beds of 80 x 190 cm. A 140 x 190 cm convertible sofa is also available in the living room.

A deposit check of 300 € will be requested (in case of damage).

Great little place

Stayed for only 5 nights in October and the place is fabulous, spacious for what looks like a small building outside. Contact with Florence was great and easy, a great welcoming treat of local cidre, apple juice, home made jams and honey and nice flowers set on the table when we arrived. Just the place we needed for our stay, would recommend.

Wonderful stay!

This beautifully renovated property is situated within 2 hectares of lush garden landscaping. A quiet retreat close to the coast and many of the top destinations in Normandy and Brittany. Florence was a fantastic host!

Amazing Cottage in the Country

Amazing place to stay. Easy directions and great warm welcome. (Even a bottle of local cider in the fridge) Can fully recommend this to anyone who wants to see this area of France. It was so close to all the landmarks we wanted to see. Car is essential.

Fantastic property -very clean and modern inside set within a lovely garden.Florence is a pleasure to deal with and left us some lovely treats for our arrival.It is located directly on a small lane which unfortunately has vehicles travelling very fast sometimes. Exiting the property driveway in a vehicle is somewhat difficult as you can’t see down the lane unless you pull right out. The requirement to take the recycling to the nearest village yourself is also a bit of a pain when you’re on holiday. Overall though a good place to stay.

Superb Property close to local attraction in quiet rural location

The property, originally an old Boulangerie, has been renovated to an exceptional high standard with quality fixtures and fittings. Everything you could ever want is provided and Florence goes the extra mile to ensure you make the most of your holiday. We had a wonderful 10 days vacation, the property set in 2 hectares of land with the most amazing gardens and flora. The property is spot less and maintained to a very high standard. The location is very peaceful and quiet down a country lane but within easy reach of main tourist areas of Normandy. Florence and her husband are a most welcoming couple, living close by but far enough away to preserve your privacy. They are more than happy to show you around their beautiful garden and to make your stay a memorable one. For those with children a large play area is provided well away from the road at the back of their home with zip slide, large trampoline and climbing area with slide. Free wifi is an added bonus in the property ensuring you can keep in touch with things back home. A new large electrically operated double bed with individual height adjustment top and bottom is provided in the master bedroom and two twin beds in the second bedroom. The master bedroom has on suite facilities and a second bathroom is provided downstairs close to the twin room. This is the best property we have stayed in and would love to give it 10 stars. Can’t wait to return and soon. This has to be your number one choice if looking for a property in Normandy.

Fantastique gîte alliant l’esthétique au confort! Beaucoup de cachet ! Jardin magnifique, terrasse toute neuve et très agréable pour prendre les apéros après une journée de visite. Nach unserem 4tägigen Aufenthalt in Paris, begann unser Urlaub erst richtig in Florences tollem Ferienhäuschen in der Normandie. Es liegt sehr auf dem Land, was natürlich so gewollt war von uns, das Haus ist einfach nur wunderhübsch, alles sehr gepflegt und es ist alles da, was man braucht und noch viel mehr. Was wir, und wir haben schon viele Ferienwohnungen gemietet, noch niemals so erlebt haben, war, dass der Kühlschrank gefüllt war mit Wasser, Bier, Cidre, Saft, Marmelade,.., Florence hat frischgepflückte Blumen, Obst aus dem rieeesigen Garten und selbstgebackene Muffins auf den Tisch gestellt,.. Ich war sprachlos! Vielen lieben Dank nochmal!Es gibt 2 Bäder, einen Traum von einem Schlafzimmer und ein anderes Schlafzimmer, zu dem eine engere Treppe führt. Für die Kinder ideal.Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, genauso wie auf der tollen neuen Terrasse und haben viel unternommen und dadurch die halbe Normandie gesehen. Den Zoo um die Ecke kann ich übrigens u.a. auch sehr empfehlen! :)Alles in allem war es ein wunderschöner Urlaub in einem noch tolleren Cottage.

Einfach Perfekt

Herzlichen Dank an Florence, die ein perfektes Ferienhaus anbietet. Tolle Ausstattung mit allem was das Herz begehrt und vor allem so sauber und so gemütlich! Wir haben schon viele Ferienhäuser gemietet, aber hier war es einfach perfekt. Für 2 Personen ideal, 3 Personen auch prima, dann wird es eng. Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr ländlich, aber alles was man braucht, gute Restaurants u. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind mit dem Auto leicht zu erreichen. Danke nochmals Florence für Ihre Hilfsbereitschaft und Gastfreundlichkeit, wir kommen wieder … bestimmt.

Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, sehr sauber und die Ausstattung tadellos. Das Grundstück ist riesig, liebevoll und abwechlsungsreich gestaltet und allein schon eine Entdeckung wert. Eine tadellose Unterkunft, die wir gerne empfehlen. Wir bedanken uns bei Florence, die uns auch tolle Tips für Ausflüge, Restaurants, Bäckereien etc. gegeben hat. Normandieurlaub

Wir waren eine Woche in diesem bezaubernden Haus mit sehr schönen Garten. Wir waren zu dritt mit unserer 16-jährigen Tochter die ihr eigenes Zimmer und Badezimmer hatte. Wir hatten alles was wir brauchten. Die Ausstattung ist ausgezeichnet; alles sehr sauber und ordentlich. Wir wurden mit einem kleinen Blumenstrauß und ein paar kulinarischen Aufmerksamkeiten begrüßt. Leider hat das Wetter nicht ganz so mitgespielt. Trotzdem absolut weiter zu empfehlen.

Schöner Urlaub

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und unseren Aufenthalt und die Mirabellen aus dem großen Garten genossen. Das Haus liegt ruhig. Man kann direkt Spaziergänge in die nahe Umgebung unternehmen. Supermärkte, Bäckereien und Restaurants sind mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Hervorheben muss man die gute, funktionierende Ausstattung der Küche. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Wir haben Madame Florence zwar erst bei der Abfahrt persönlich kennengelernt; sie war aber telefonisch und per Mail erreichbar. Wir können das Haus ohne Einschränkungen weiterempfehlen. Nous nous sommes sentis très à l'aise et avons apprécié notre séjour ainsi que les mirabelles du grand jardin. a maison est située au calme. On peut directement faire des promenades dans les environs proches. Les supermarchés, boulangeries et restaurants sont accessibles en quelques minutes en voiture. Il faut souligner le bon équipement de la cuisine, qui fonctionne bien. Il y a tout ce dont on a besoin. Nous n'avons fait la connaissance de Madame Florence en personne qu'au moment du départ ; mais elle était joignable par téléphone et par mail. Nous pouvons recommander la maison sans réserve.

Paradiesisch ruhig, aber nicht einsam

Das Haus ist nicht nur sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt benötigen könnte, sondern ist auch ultra-gemütlich. Nicht in Worte zu fassen ist der wunderbare, unglaublich weitläufige Garten. Von Florence wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen und haben uns sofort willkommen gefühlt. Sie war immer ansprechbar und hat uns hilfreiche Empfehlungen abseits der großen touristischen Ziele gegeben. Der Kühlschrank war gefüllt mit Produkten aus eigener Produktion oder aus der direkten Umgebung. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in wenigen Autominuten erreichbar. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Les espaces extérieurs sont superbes et agréables. L'intérieur de la boulangerie a été rénové avec goût. Le positionnement du pare-douche de la salle de bain doit être revu (pas d'étanchéité donc piscine à la première douche). En outre, il faut noter que les 2 chambres sont en mezzanine (pas de porte et donc pas d'intimité).

Ein absolut unvergesslicher Urlaub!

Das war genau das Ferienhaus, das wir uns vorgestellt hatten - weit ab von jeglichem Touristenrummel in einer wunderschönen Landschaft, wir haben uns sehr gut erholt, es war absolut entspannend.
