We had a wonderful stay in Hiawassee! The mountain views were absolutely amazing and made for such a peaceful, relaxing getaway. The location was perfect—close to the grocery store and conveniently located for exploring the area and enjoying all the nearby activities. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a mountain getaway!

Well-equipped and immaculately clean with a stunning view from high on a ridge. Beautiful dark skies at night, perfect for star-gazing. Private and serene, but convenient to Hiawassee. Hosts were attentive and communicative.

The house had an excellent view of the mountains. It was far enough off the road to block the road noise. We felt secure with the powered gate that controlled access to the house.

I stupidly unseen rented this house for 55 days. This was a horror house. Not only was the vertical driveway barely a climbable nightmare, finding out the neighbors were clearing a lot next door the entire duration of our stay. The complaint that the owners said we dented a tv. Here is the actual truth. They installed a tv 4 inches away from the door to the bathroom. And the old dried out corner door bracket that I found on the floor to prevent you from opening a door was on the floor. This owner is blaming me for denting a tv is laughable. Never even turned that tv on once. I’m wondering if you can’t access a bathroom by opening a door more than 90 degrees is that legal. Seeing an attorney now.

We've been very fortunate to have very respectful guests in our mountain home, almost without exception. However, in the case of these guests, that certainly was not the case! After reviewing them on VRBO and giving them 1 star in hopes that other hosts will heed our warning, they became vindictive and left us this harsh review. If you read our MANY other reviews you'll know that theirs was truly false. They did a great deal of damage and we've spent a lot of time and money repairing what they left in their wake. I don't want to rant or excessively vent so I'll just leave it at that.
