Another wonderful Quilting Retreat!

We come twice a year for our Quilting Retreat and always have a wonderful time. The place is very clean, and the beds are comfortable. It accommodates all of us (14 ladies) with room to spare. They also have tables and chairs for all of us to work at. The owners are wonderful people and always do what they can to make our stay comfortable. It is in such a beautiful location; we love it here! Thank you so much!

We had a group of guys on our annual “mancation”. Everyone had a great time and everyone had a comfortable bed. A great property inside and out. Perfect for large groups. Fishing and biking were excellent in the South Fork area. Thank you for a great time!

A beautiful and peaceful retreat

This lodge is perfect for large gatherings. There is plenty of space and comfort for everyone. South Fork has plenty of fun stuff to do. Hiking, hiking, ATV trails, river and lake fishing, boat rentals and much more. The property is in a great location, right on the river. I don’t know if it was the time of year, but we did not have any bothersome mosquitoes either. Highly recommend this wonderful place.

Wonderful Time At Rio River Retreat!

The Lodge is absolutely perfect for our family! There is plenty of room and it’s beautiful! Dan and Melissa are the best! I highly recommend this property! This was our 7th year staying at the Lodge for our family vacation. Thank you Melissa and Dan! We can’t wait to come back next year!

Great place to stay particularly if you have a large group. Ample room for all!

We really enjoyed our short stay, great location with easy access to world class skiing at Wolf Creek and close enough to spend a relaxing evening in the historic mining town of Creede. We had so much fun and definitely will return next year!

Two families were able to enjoy this house and each other for a week in this home. There were 10 adults and 2 teens and plenty of space for everyone.The view if the mountains and access to the Rio Grande made this the best place we’ve stayed while in South Fork. We especially enjoyed the large family and kitchen area for our group, and the kids took advantage of the game room and games. The kitchen was well equipped for our family needs. We made all of our meals in the house. There was plenty of room for parking, and checking in and out were easy! We will definitely try to book this place again!

This lodge easily houses our group of 15-20 every year for our annual ski trip, and it has plenty of space to relax, play games, cook, and eat together. The owners are easy to communicate with and friendly people. We hope to return year after year!

Beautiful location, amazing hosts, great experience!

This was my second time staying at the Rio River Lodge and it just keeps getting better! Melissa goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is enjoyable and memorable. Our group had a blast getting to all be together! The location is great and easy to get to Wolf Creek to ski. Overall I highly recommended staying at this charming lodge!
