Overall we had a great stay. It was homey and great space for 3 couples.. It is clean and well kept for an old home. It is much nicer on the inside than it appears from street. We were fine but just FYI it is not wheelchair accessible or handicap friendly. Host is very accessible . No problem with check in .
What a fun place to stay! Highly recommend it-- plenty of separation of space, yet several big 'living rooms" comfortably appointed -- and the "wine cellar" space- so unique and a welcome respite from the MIssouri July heat and humidity Wonderful accommodations!
This home was beautiful and unique! There was so much character to the home, the stairs and wood were gorgeous. Every room was clean and set up perfectly for the guests. There is extremely helpful information ready in the living room and anything you could need is already thought of in the house. Would definitely stay here again! Had a blast!
Fantastically quirky VRBO. My sister’s 69 th birthday was the occasion we were celebrating. We LOVED the house with its creaky floors and stairs galore. We each had our own floor to stay on and each had a bathroom to ourselves. Would not recommend to people who don’t have the energy or physicality to climb stairs. We had no problems though. Would love to stay here again.
The House was perfect!! We enjoyed a girl’s weekend in Hermann And the House provided everything we needed. We had dinner together Friday night, the trolley picked us up at the house on Saturday and took us all around town and back home that evening. There were 7 of us and there was plenty of room for all of us to eat, sleep, shower, get ready, have a game night, etc. I would definitely stay here again. Only thing of note is don’t try to walk there from the train station :D we tried that and a sweet lady saw us struggling up the hill and stopped to offer us a ride to the house.
The house was great. Clean and very comfortable beds. The bathrooms were newly renovated and nice. It’s an old house so it has quirks which is expected. Segmented but overall great for a girls weekend. The trolley was great about picking us up at our door and taking us wherever we wanted. There’s a gas station walking distance but other than that the main part of town is a trolley ride away. But nothing is far.
This house was very well supplied and worked very well for our stay, it is very historic and the stone cellar was amazing.
We will definitely stay here again.
