Located in quiet picturesque neighborhood. Patio overlooking a creek was relaxing and beautiful. Husband enjoyed fishing locally. The home was stocked with all the necessities. Host was very friendly. Definitely recommend!
This is a great place to come back to after a windy, cold day of fishing. The location was great, the facility was very comfortable and quiet. The hosts were super friendly and accomodating but not intrusive.
The place was very clean and well stocked. Very nice that it comes with a bbq. The views were amazing and the sound of the creek was perfect. Would stay here again! We already miss it!
Excellent stay! The owner is responsive, kind and welcoming! The home was so beautiful, with amazing view of the mountain and the sound of the running creek. Well worth the stay!
The home was comfortable, clean, and perfect for our climbing trip to Bishop. I loved the fully stocked kitchen to cook dinner each night. Ron and Karen are amazing hosts and hope to stay here again in the future!
Great Location, peaceful, extremely clean, and quiet. Host and Hostess were friendly, making sure all the accommodations were perfect (and they were). I recommend you book your next Bishop stay here.
House was clean and prepped for our stay. Fully functional kitchen, coffee and some kitchen basics were there, plenty of clean towels and blankets, gorgeous views, creek running through the property, very quiet neighborhood. Our stay was exceptional. We will be staying again.
Ron’s place was perfect for our girls’ gathering. The kitchen had everything we needed. The furniture was comfy and the two queen beds in the living area didn’t make it feel crowded at all. The view of course was unparalleled and the sound of the creek was a lovely bonus. Highly recommended!
Super comfortable and well equipped apartment within easy reach of the bars and restaurants in Bishop. Awesome views to and a great base for, a couple of weeks hiking in the Sierra. Hopefully back next year!
This property was centrally located in town, but had amazing views of the mountains and a creek in the yard. The owners were super nice, helpful when we had hiking questions, but unobtrusive otherwise. This was a very nice stay.
We spent an enjoyable week in Bishop hiking in the nearby mountains. This property was in a nice and quite part of Bishop. It had a well stocked kitchen and was very clean. We greatly enjoyed our stay here.
The vrbo is wonderful
Everything we could possibly need to cook fabulous meals, relax, watch the NCAA basketball games and walks out the door! Hopefully we will be back!
We were very pleased with the location and the friendliness of the owners and their being very good at communicating and given directions to their property. It was very centrally located to the Siera day hikes we were wanting to do. We were very comfortable there. The kitchen was well stocked with necessities and the rest was very clean and comfortable. It was ideal for our purposes.
Ron & Karen were delightful hosts. Their upstairs apartment was perfect for our family of four….close to fishing, trails, downtown & shopping. Perfect blend of fun & relaxation! Apartment had every single thing we needed. Highly recommend!!!
I'm looking for a sixth star! Just a great rental and hosts. Very clean, comfortable, and well-kept in a quiet neighborhood on a cul de sac. The kitchen is well equiped and the view is beautiful as you sit on the porch thinking about using the bbq tonight though the restaurants downtown are right nearby. Note: the stairs clearly described in the rental details are there, but I didn't find them a problem. I did leave the cooler downstairs next to the bathroom, but that was my only concession.
The location within a short walk to town and to the museum and it’s trails is ideal. Park the car and walk! It’s also the perfect spot to access trailheads in the Sierra and White mountains. The place is spotless, the kitchen stocked with everything you might need (by far, one of the best we’ve seen). Comfy bed, plenty of towels…and the views to the mountains from the deck are incredible. Bishop creek runs right below and provides a rushing stream soundtrack. Ron was very helpful when needed and Eli, the dog loves chasing frisbees (we didn’t meet Karen). We’ll definitely be back!
The house is very nice, clean, and cozy. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the hosts are friendly and helpful. However, the rental unit is located above the main house, and all cooking smells from the kitchen drift directly into the apartment. The hosts usually make coffee around 6:30–6:45 a.m., and the aroma comes straight into the bedroom through a vent next to the bed.Since I sometimes work online until midnight, this made it difficult to sleep in. In the evenings, we could also clearly smell whatever was prepared for dinner downstairs. The lingering odors were affecting my sleep.Overall, it’s a lovely home in a good location, and it could be a great stay for many travelers. However, if you are sensitive to smells—as I am—you might want to consider that before booking.
Very nice place. We particularly liked the location, and the fact that there were two bedrooms downstairs! and two bathrooms. Excellent layout. Everything we needed in the kitchen. Super clean. Couldn't do better!
We woke up to cows outside the front door across the fence, how much better can you get! We had a wonderful, comfortable stay here. This site had everything we needed and more! The host responded right away to our inquiries and we felt the listing and description was very accurate. We would definitely stay here again and have already recommended this site to family who pass through Bishop often.
