Oyster Pointe Soundside Large Deck Overlooks Pool

On the sound and nestled in the pines in Oyster Pointe, our 2nd floor condo is the best of both worlds. Tucked away in a quiet area, 3/4 mile to the beach, close to area attractions and bike paths. When you are not at the beach our view of the pool still gives you the feel of vacation. Located at MP7, the condo is a spacious 1485 sq feet. Our large deck, complete with deck furniture and an electric grill, overlooks the pool. The bike paths allow you to walk or ride along the sound, (beautiful sunsets), or to the Wright Brothers Monument. We provide a well stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, high speed wireless internet, games, books, and DVD's. The condo is in excellent condition as well as the grounds and pool.

Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Dishwasher must be emptied and dishes put away. Sign out of any personal apps on TV
Put laundry and towels on laundry room basket. Leave spreads and pillows on floor. Please don't put with laundry
Call our cleaner to let her know you have left. Phone number is in our guest book
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Quiet hours 10:30 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. people live there and have to work in the morning!
Please confine food, drinks, to kitchen, dining room, outside deck. Stains on carpet, furniture, quilts, etc. are not fair to the next guest.
Accidents happen we know! Please contact us right away if anything needs attention. The sooner we get to it, the better the outcome.

Friends and family vacation

The place was great. Lots of space for everyone, location is perfect right in the middle of the Outerbanks, which makes it easy to do a day trip in any direction. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay here! The condo is clean and spacious, and they have everything you need. Great central location to everything we like to do in the OBX. Check in and check out was very easy too, we would definitely stay here again!

A great stay!!

The property was well kept and the pool was very handy and the location was near to everything, but still just far enough away from hustle-bustle. The condo was super-clean and we recommend staying here highly!

Serenity at it's Best

We very much enjoyed our visit to Kill Devil Hills. This condo was extremely clean and peaceful. It was equipped with all the necessities we needed. We spent quite a bit of time sitting out on the deck and overlooking the pool area. The pool was so refreshing and relaxing. Our host Debbie was very courteous and helpful with any questions we had. Definitely, a must stay!

Wonderful 5-day trip!

We loved Oyster Pointe. It was a great location centrally located near many restaurants and attractions, but still quiet and tucked away from the main busy road. Newish appliances and well stocked kitchen had everything we needed. We had a small issue with air conditioner (understandable since it was 90 heat wave everyday) and the owner was extremely responsive and addressed/fixed it immediately. It would be hard to beat the overall value of this place for a family of 6.

This was the neatest, cleanest place that we’ve stayed in recently. It’s a very short distance from everything, which made it very convenient. The area was quiet and perking definitely wasn’t an issue. We would definitely stay here again.

Great condo!

This is a great place to stay for vacation! The condo is only 5 minutes from the beach (free parking) and it was very clean! The host, Debbie, is very responsive and the whole process from check-in to check-out was organized. I also cooked several meals while we were there and the kitchen had everything I needed. I highly recommend this condo as a place to stay on vacation!

Wedding weekend for a close friend

NTM trip

Fantastic stay, fantastic location, great host!

We normally stay down near Nags Head when we stay, but couldn't pass up this gem. The master bedroom is enormous, the condo was incredibly well appointed and we had a simply wonderful time. We didn't even get to take advantage of all the amenities, but hopefully we can come back next year and do so. This is a great location, right in the heart of the outer banks and the beach is very close even if you wanted to walk (we drove each day). The host was very helpful and responsive and the condo simply has everything you need! I highly recommend this property and this owner!

Beautiful spacious condo

I am so glad we stayed here! The owner was great and best customer service ever. The condo was clean and was more then expected. It was spacious and had plenty closet/storage space. Kitchen was nice, and had everything needed to eat and cook a meal. There were plates, bowls, pot & pans, cups, utensils, and more we could use. There is a coffee pot and dishwasher. There is also a washer & dryer in the unit. Beds and pillows were comfortable and TVs in every room except one. Close to the beach, grocery stores, and resturants. It was the perfect spot for our family and we enjoyed our time there.

The condo was very nice, spacious and clean and provided everything we needed.

This was a last minute booking for us since we originally had reservations on Ocracoke Island that were cancelled due to the hurricane. Fortunately we found this rental and Debbie was great to work with. Although we never actually spoke, through e-mail and text messages she made sure that everything went smoothly. We loved the location and found that is was close to everything we wanted to do. The condo is nicely decorated and comfortable. We loved sitting on the deck and looking through the pine trees. It was quiet and very peaseful. Amazingly, we never turned on a TV the whole time we were which is saying something since I am somewhat of a news junkie. We are looking forward to staying here again next year.

A couple of issues but overall a great location

The location of this property is great as it is close to the beach, grocery store, the sound and the Wright Brother's National Monument. We had a couple of issues as there was a sub cleaner for our stay and we did not have paper towels, a sponge to clean the dishes, kleenex and we ran out of toilet paper. In addition the bath towels and hand towels were still dirty from the previous guest and we had to wash them upon arriving before using them. I understand that these things happen however, although the owner was very communicative about it, her offered solution was to send a gift card to reimburse us for the paper towels and sponge which we felt did not solve the issue for the other costs involved and inconvenience. Despite these issues the space overall was good for our family of four and she had other items (such as a pack and play) which made the stay easier.

I have been coming to this area for 60 years. I was lucky enough to live and work there in summers and hopefully will live there again in the next 5 years. We treat KDH and surrounding towns with the respect it deserves. We are honest in our recommendations and know the area extremely well. We believe strongly in supporting local restaurants shops and stores as this area was not meant to be changed but to continue to hold onto the charm of what we love so much.

Why they chose this property

This neighborhood is primarily year round residents who love tranquility. The trees and gardens are a nice change of pace from the beach. It's safe and easy to walk around the neighborhood or other places. The bike path takes you to the sound or to the Wright Brothers Monument. Beautiful sunsets can be seen as well!

What makes this property unique

The complex only has 6 condos that are 3 bedroom with extra large decks. We are lucky to own one of those! The 2nd floor is not too many steps. Our deck is large enough for separate dining/cooking and seating areas. The view of the pool is truly the best in all of Oyster Pointe.
