Beautiful, newly remodeled ground floor unit at Kiahuna Plantation

This condominium has one of the best locations at Kiahuna Plantation in beautiful Koloa, Kauai. It is a ground floor unit with no stairs. It is considered to be a “garden paradise” view. It overlooks the twin bridges with fabulous landscaping. Birds of paradise, plumarea, azalea and other tropical flowers are close to the lanai. Easy access to the beach with a three minute walk to the beach. Wonderful restaurants, including Keoki’s Paradise, Ruth’s Chris, Merriman’s, Puka Dogs and other restaurants are close. Beautiful Kauai including Waimea Canyon, Hannepe, Old Koloa Town and other sites are within easy driving range. Poipu Beach Athletic Club with tennis, swimming pool, pickle ball and fitness center is just across the street and may be used at no charge. Poipu Beach is considered by many to be one of the ten best beaches in the world. This is unit #65 in building #12.

We have stayed in the same condo for the last three summers and love it! The location of this condo is wonderful! It is downstairs and easy access to the beach. You can see the bridge and the landscaping is lush and beautifully manicured. The condo has everything you need for your stay and the plus is having the air condition! Not all of the condos at Kiahuna have this amenity. The condo is very clean with new carpet installed. Poipu Shopping Center is right across the street where there are shops and restaurants. We will definitely book our next vacation and stay again at this wonderful condo! Our host has been excellent every time of our stay!

This was an excellent condo in an excellent. The unit has been remodeled recently and in excellent condition. If you are looking for a location, close to the beach, close to dining and shopping, then this is your place.We spent 2 weeks in the unit and loved every minute with this location.

Best Location in Kauai

To our delight, the property was exactly as advertised and check in was a breeze. The location of the condo complex is the best location in Kauai (in our humble opinion). Restaurants and shops were in easy walking and driving distance. The beach is great for beginning surfers and the board rental on property was very reasonable. We will be back!

Great unit at Kiahuna Plantations. There was not a direct ocean view, but the unit was very well located - close to a parking lot but did not hear any car noise, close to the beach, and close to the pool (at the Poipu Athletic Club). Check in and out was easy with the Castle Resorts office. The unit furnishings were in good working condition and comparable to other units we have stayed in.

Family in Kauai

Communication with the owner was great, check in and out was good with Castle resort.The newly remodeled title on the listing was a little surprising, compared to the other units we’ve been in over the last 15 years. Overall the unit was a nice experience.

Relaxing and Beautiful Condo & Complex

Nice, comfortable unit, a/c works very well and cools the whole condo. Lovely patio with nice foliage/setting, native birds, as well as sunset view. Grounds are beautiful, nice example of Hawaii. Short walk to the beach. Great location very near a variety of restaurants and shops.

Lovely tropical holiday

This is a very comfortable condo on beautifully kept garden grounds with an easy walk to their large sandy beach and warm ocean water. Chairs and towels are part of the amenities. The beaches here are visited frequently by monk seals and green sea turtles, which adds to the beauty of the area. We had a rewarding and very relaxing week here.

Perfect Beach Vacation

We had a great time here. It’s a 2 minute walk to the beach or 2 minute walk to the pool. The condo is exactly as listed. Restaurants are also within walking distance. (Try the Italian place across the street!) They also had a beach chair, umbrella, mini coolers and some pool floats. Main bed is very comfortable and the sofa pulls out for a nice bed, perfect for kids. Everything was nice and clean and the AC worked great.

Wonderful Stay!

We stayed in this condo in July of 2023, and we wanted the same condo for our summer vacation in August 2024! It's in a great location, especially being on the ground level. You can just walk out from the lanai and enjoy the beautiful landscape of the premises. It is very well maintained, and we love the peacefulness. The condo is very clean and it had everything we needed for our relaxing vacation. We have stayed in other condos at Kiahuna, but this condo is the best for us!

Amazing Location

The unit worked very well for my family and I. We traveled with an infant and 6 year old. The pull out couch worked great, and there was space for a pack and play. The location was perfect. We spent most days either going to the beach or pool. There are also many places to explore on the island and this was a great launching point. I strongly recommend this place.

Poipu paradise

We have stayed in Poipu 5 or 6 times. This was our first stay at the Kiahuna Plantation. It’s is centrally located in the complex and in Poipu. The unit was well equipped and comfortable. FYI… there are no condiments or spices. Short walk to the beach.

wonderful home in paradise

This is our third time staying in this unit. We love the view of the gardens (those giant trees!), all supplies for a day at the beach, short walk to the best beach on the island, comfy bed, cosy living room, close to restaurants and shopping, walking everyday in the area, close to the heritage trail, turtles and monk seals, helpful friendly staff. plus much more.

Lovely quiet location

We have returned to this unit a number of times, after staying in other units in various locations on the property. Building location matters a lot, and this is the best! It’s a ground floor unit with lovely views of Kiahuna’s grounds from the lanai, and a quick walk to the beach. The building is small and very quiet. The air conditioning is a plus in the late afternoon; otherwise the breezes and ventilation features are most comfortable. We prefer Kiahuna Plantations for its beachfront location and walking distance to restaurants and shops.

I am a family doctor who fell in love with Kiahuna Plantation and bought a unit in 1984. We have traveled around the world but always come back to Kiahuna Plantation because we think it is the Garden of Eden.

Why they chose this property

There are many beautiful locations in Hawaii. None is as unique as Kiahuna Plantation. There are so many beautiful grounds at this property. The flowers and trees are spectacular. It is so serene and quiet. Also Poipu Beach is a spectacular beach with fine white sand. Our children grew up here and even though they are grown they love to return to Kiahuna Plantation.

What makes this property unique

This is the only Beachfront condominium complex on the south shore of Kauai. Other properties are near the beach but Kiahuna is right on the beach.
