Beautiful mountain home with stunning lake views

Family-friendly home with great lake and mountain views, minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand County lakes, and the historic town of Grand Lake. Enjoy all that the Grand Lake surrounding area has to offer year-round while you soak up the very best of Colorado views and outdoors. 10 minutes to the town of Grand Lake and to the W entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park, 20 minutes to ski at Granby Ranch, and 40 minutes to Winter Park. This is a great location for hiking, biking, fishing, boating, and soaking up all that a Colorado mountain summer, fall or winter has to offer. Also close to all the amenities and activities at both Snow Mountain Ranch and Devil's Thumb Ranch.

This home is a great place for both relaxing and making memories. Boating, hiking, fishing, and winter sports are right out your front door. We find we equally enjoy doing nothing up here, taking in views of the lake and mountains, enjoying the mountain air, and watching for animal life around the yard. Hawks, fox, elk, and moose stop by often. Wifi and television are available, too.

Our home is beautiful and cozy, ideal for families and friends enjoying a mountain getaway. House sleeps 12 if some are children and you're planning to have them max the bunk room, a home to wonderful memories. Otherwise house comfortably sleeps 10 adults.
•Master bedroom has a king-sized bed and a pack-n-play in the closet, en suite bathroom
•Bedroom #2 has a queen-sized bed
•Bedroom #3 has twin-over-full bunk, an additional twin, and a trundle twin (BR 1 and 2 are on the main level and share a full bath)
•The entry level has two pull-out twin sleepers, its own bath and wet bar. There is an outdoor entrance directly into this space.
•The loft has queen futon

The entire home, and deck are yours to enjoy. Toys & games are available to use and many child and toddler amenities (kid cutlery, booster seat, pack-&-play, etc) are included.

Beautiful views from this spacious home! There were 6 of us (2 adults and 4 BIG teenagers) and we all had space to spread out when needed. Great location with easy access to all three lakes. We cooked all of our meals on-site so my only suggestion is that the kitchen amenities could use some updating: better cooking pans, more mixing bowls and utensils like a whisk and sharp cutting knives.

Great Home Awesome Location

Our entire family thoroughly enjoyed our week at this home. Our 12 year old son asked if we could stay another week! The house is perfectly located between the conveniences of Granby and the fun of Grand Lake. It is also only minutes from the National Park. The owner stayed in contact and provided great suggestions to ensure we enjoyed our vacation.

Beautiful view and home!

We stayed here for a few nights before our wedding in Grand Lake! The view from the deck was wonderful and we enjoyed having coffee out there. I think they forgot some extra toilet paper but we made due and bought some. The kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed our stay!

Great access to Lakes and National Park

We enjoyed our stay here. The place was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the access to the lakes (Grand Lake, Shadow Mountain and Grandby). Grand Lake is a cute mountain town. Rocky Mountain National park is quite close. You currently (July 2024) need reservations to enter between 9am and 2pm. The cabin is close enough that we were able to go to the park several days before 9am to enter without a reservation.

Great Place

This place fits 3 families perfectly. We had one extra guest who did not have a family and he stayed in the basement which was perfect. So many options for extra beds as well. My only recommendation would be to label all the light switches it got a bit confusing. The views were amazing!! We will definitely try to stay again.

Great fun in Grand Lake!

We arrived during one of snowiest times in the last year or so, at least according to the news! The house was warm, spacious and clean, super convenient for the snowmobiling we came to Grand Lake for, and the host was outstanding. She is a great communicator, clear, concise, thorough, and gave us great advice when we rolled into the snowy area with not-the-right-vehicle. Great place for a big group -- highly recommended!

Wonderful home.

We were 13 people staying in the house for 5 nights, adults and children from 3 families. Our stay was awesome, the home was great size for all of us, it was clean and everything worked out fine. The mountain views were wonderful to look at. Overall, we had a very memorable time in the mountains and this property was perfect for us. Awesome home in the Rockies

Wonderful Stay in the Rockies!We had an amazing time at this beautiful home near Grand Lake and Granby Ski Resort! The 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom house was incredibly spacious, easily accommodating our group of over 12 people with room to spare. The kitchen was perfect for gathering and enjoying family meals together.The host provided clear and helpful instructions, making our stay seamless. The kids loved the selection of games available, which kept them entertained throughout the trip. The location was fantastic—close to both outdoor adventures and local attractions.Highly recommend this home for a relaxing and fun-filled getaway in the Rockies!

Stott vacation

We have always camped out when going to Rocky Mountain National Park and this was our first time booking a VRBO for the first time and I must say it was a success. Rebecca was very accommodating and quick responding to any questions we had. Our family of 11 was able to enjoy an awesome vacation and felt at home here. Not to far from grand lake,granby, or the RMNP entrance and was very peaceful and relaxing spot. Would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be doing this again.
