EVERYONE loves this location in Del Mar! Right across the street from the beach and walking distance to the restaurants, shops, Powerhouse Park and oceanfront playground. A couple of blocks from Seagrove Park. Recently remodeled with a gourmet kitchen, large outdoor patio with a bbq. Central a/c is a big plus in the summer months! There are no stairways to the beach. The ocean front playground at Powerhouse Park is one of a kind. Kids love to watch the trains go by and moms & dads can enjoy the ocean surf. The restaurants close by are anything from Starbucks, to pizza to fine dining!
We are only one mile to the Del Mar Race Track and Fairgrounds. We are located at 1757 Coast Blvd at the corner of Coast & 18th Street.

Each bedroom has its own smart TV. Bring your laptop for the free wifi internet connection. If you need toddler supplies; we have a pack-n-play and a high chair for you. Our home features an outdoor BBQ and 2 parking spaces. We also supply all your beach gear and paper products for an easy vacation ready home! 5 adults MAX.
Enjoy a walk at sunset on the beautiful Del Mar beach or have a picnic at Powerhouse Park. We have beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrella, beach towels, a cooler, and toys for your enjoyment at the beach.
We live in San Diego and are available to service all your vacation needs. It is our goal to make you feel at home.

Please LEAVE the garage remotes inside the condo. You do not need the garage remotes when exiting the parking area. The door will open automatically.
Please start a load of towels - super helpful! No need to strip the beds!

Swimming Pool and Jacuzzi Rules STRICTLY ENFORCED Hours 9 am – 9 pm. Swimming is at your own risk, there is NO lifeguard.
The family room fireplace is not hooked up. Do not attempt to use the fireplace. There is NO smoking allowed anywhere in the complex.
Quiet time is 9 pm sharp. This is a family complex. We cannot accept more than 4 adults per condo. We do sleep 6 but that is with children. NO PETS

Del Mar Perfection!

The property is in the perfect location, with underground parking one block from the beach. The interior is clean, crisp, with new/modern appliances and the latest in tech. The owners thought of everything, from the beach chairs, towels, to comfortable beds, ceiling fans, board & card games, to a beach cooler and umbrellas. Nina, the property manager, is on site and very responsive. As former residents of Del Mar, we were very impressed, and will come back year after year.

Awesome stay, great location

Very nice condo located one block behind the beach. We stayed there for a week, enjoyed morning runs on the beach. Kids had lots of fun playing in the waves. Awesome spot, would definitely recommend.

Great condo centrally located and very close to the beach

We stayed in this property as a family of five and it was as advertised. Comfortable condo with a well appointed kitchen. It's very much a "beach condo" with convenient access to the beach basically across the street, and the main part of Del Mar with restaurants etc is also just around the corner. Overall, would definitely stay again given perfect location.

Beautiful Del Mar

This was a beautiful home. Comfortable and modern. Our whole family (2 adults, 3 teenagers and 1 dog) all loved the space and location. Very dog friendly, easy walk to beach and to the shops and restaurants downtown! The manager, Nina, was wonderful! We arrived late because of traffics delays and she turned lights on and left us welcome treats! She even found us a dog sitter on short notice, so we could go out for a special celebration dinner! Honestly, this was one of my best experiences with VRBO. I would highly recommend this property and Surf Vacation Rentals.

I love my job and love all the families I have met over the years. I have 3 kids ... my son graduated from Ohio State, daughter who graduated from University of Oregon and a daughter currently attending the University of Arizona!

I am originally from Rhode Island but have lived in San Diego for over 30 years. I have been doing vacation rentals in San Diego and Del Mar for over 18 years. I also worked part time for the San Diego Padres for the last 20 years!

I am fortunate that I have done a lot of traveling ... so I know what it takes to provide you with a vacation ready home!

I used to work as a Promotion Director for a San Diego radio station and worked for 20 years for the San Diego Padres!

Why they chose this property

Meticulous, highly upgraded, fully loaded! 2018 remodel! 3 bedrooms each with their own bathrooms. Each renter will receive a small welcome gift! Everyone loves the LOCATION - walking distance to the Del Mar Plaza, restaurants and shops! The beach is only 1 mile away. There are no stairways to the beach. The ocean front playground at Powerhouse Park is one of a kind. Kids love to watch the trains go by and moms & dads can enjoy the ocean surf. The restaurants close by are anything from Starbucks, to pizza to fine dining!

Del Mar is a very family friendly community. Our state of the art lifeguard station at 17th Street has showers and restrooms, not to mention the nicest staff ready to help you with any questions! The Del Mar lifeguards are truly the best! There is also a lifeguard station with restrooms at 25th Street.

What makes this property unique

We like to provide you with a vacation ready home! Just bring your food! We supply paper towel, trash bags, Kleenex, dishwasher detergent, some laundry detergent and toilet paper.  There is a Keurig coffee machine and a regular coffee maker with filters.   We also supply one hair dryer, an iron & ironing board, one pack n play, a high chair, washer & dryer, beach chairs, 2 boogie boards, 1 umbrella, 1 cooler and sand toys for your enjoyment at the beach! No pets allowed.
