The home was well stocked and cabinets are labeled for ease of unfamiliar kitchen. We left a few items behind and we're immediately contacted to arrange retrievalThe yard and pool area is gorgeous with lots of room for sitting and lounging. Spacious home with so many amenities! Six adults stayed over Labor Day weekend for a wedding and it was perfect! We enjoyed the bedrooms with large closets with organizers, the large outdoor area and pool, the spacious kitchen/dining area and two living rooms. Plenty of room with a bedroom to spare! Destry also kindly shipped a few small items we had left behind. Thank you for a wonderful weekend in Carlsbad. Highly recommend!

The most kid friendly rental house we have ever stayed at. A perfect home base for our multigen San Diego trip. Having the pool was such a highlight we used it every day. Definitely recommend if looking for a comfortable and easy stay for families.

This property lived up to the hype of being a kids dream house! Oh my goodness, there were so many toys, games, puzzles for a wide variety of ages. Also, the pool in the hot tub were pristine! We had a magnificent experience with kids who are six, four and two. It is also extremely convenient to Legoland, grocery stores, gas, numerous local restaurants.Our hosts were extremely accommodating and very lovely in their communication with speedy replies to all inquiries.

This was a super hit for our family of nine including two 5 year olds and a 3 year old. The garage was a super playroom with an arcade game, lots of toys and a full wall sized charkboard. There were plenty of places in the home to be together but because of the number of spaces, plenty to be alone in also. There were TVs all over the place but this wasn't our thing and we never used any of them. There was a huge cabinet filled with all sorts of games. The outdoor space was beautiful with the pool and spa and there again there were plenty of places to relax together or alone. There were a good number umbrellas which was nice. There was a nice pingpong table, corn hole game and life sized connect four. The real hit for us was the spa and pool which were used multiple times each day. Our grandchildren made huge progress with their swimming every day in the pool and enjoyed the pool toys. The kids room was up a full set of floating stairs and our kiddos were too young to be left alone upstairs so they slept in their parents rooms...not ideal, but okay for short term. The kitchen was good and when we were there had many of the staples you need including cooking oil, a selection of spices, condiments, flour & sugar. All in all it was a magical family vacation at this VRBO.

Relaxing getaway

We had a great time at this property. A few things that were extra special was the upstairs loft that the kids loved hanging out in, all of the extra toiletries and supplies in case you forgot something, and the pool/hot tub with pool toys galore. Beds were comfortable and the location was perfect. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect family getaway

It’s not easy to find a perfect spot for three generations to vacation together, but this home was a grand slam. The home has plenty of toys to keep the grandkids happy, and the crib and high chair were perfect for our littlest traveler. And even with Legoland and the beach so close by, the highlight for our grandson might’ve been the backyard pool.

Perfect Vacation Home

A Wonderful Place

We stayed here with a group of friends and their young children. The property was excellent. It was clean and well equipped. The pool and hot tub were amazing, and it was close to many great attractions. We would fully recommend staying at this fabulous place!

The house is in a great location and we loved our stay. It has anything we could ever need. Extremely well stocked. My kids loved the pool and hot tub and the play room was a great bonus We would definitely go back.

My son, his wife & 2 boys along with my daughter & her husband joined us to visit my mother-in-law in Carlsbad. Our trip was incredible. Destry & William made it that way because their place is perfect for a family with children. They had everything we needed. We're hoping to go back in 2 years.
