Bend Getaway in RiverWild-Walk to Deschutes River and Old Mill District

Let our home be yours as you step into our warm and inviting retreat! The house is nestled above the west side of Deschutes River in the perfect location close in to the excitement of Bend and the call of Mt. Bachelor. The Century West home is walking distance to the Deschutes River Trail (5 minute walk), Old Mill District (5 minute bike or car ride) and many tasty restaurants and activities! Our home is fully stocked, so you can focus on exploring the local trails, river, and shopping scene. Bicycle out our back door to close by Phil's Trails MTB and great road biking adventures along Century Drive and Cascade Lakes Highway. Golfing is less than 5 minutes away.

This freestanding home includes air conditioning, modern WiFi, 4K smart TV, 4K Bluray player, a BBQ, gas fireplace, three bed rooms and three bathrooms. You also have pass access to the hot tub and pool of the community center lodge! The two-floor house comfortably sleeps 8 guests, with 2 king size beds and 2 queen size beds.

The house was in a great location, close to downtown Bend, shops and restaurants, and with easy access to adventure (hiking, waterfalls, trails, etc). The house was very clean and comfortable and perfect for our party of 4.

RiverWild was just what we needed for our family trip to Bend for a lacrosse tournament. The house was provided easy access to fields and team activities and it also was a great place to relax during the “off time.”

We had a wonderful stay with our family. The accommodations were perfect. The kids enjoyed the pool facilities and we all enjoyed the river trails. Proximity to OSU Cascades campus, and downtown Bend was a main reason we wanted to stay here. Owners communication was excellent, before and during our stay. Highly recommend.

Ken & Annie have a lovely home and they are excellent hosts. The layout is great for a party of 6, everyone had enough space and privacy. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glassware, pots, pans & cooking tools. We made awesome breakfasts every day of our stay. If you are an outdoor enthusiast, this property is fantastic! We came to golf & mountain bike and this house is close to both. Having the garage is an absolute must when switching between sports. You can securely leave your bikes while golfing and vice versa. If you want some forest bathing immediately, the Deschutes river is a short walk through the pines. Close to shopping, great food and lots of outdoor adventure, this is a beautiful place to stay while visiting Bend.

Excellent Stay!

Stayed here with my husband and our 2 teen boys. Location was great! Right on the trail by the river and close to everything but also far enough away from the hustle and bustle of town. Neighborhood is nice and exceptionally quiet. The condo itself was immaculate, comfortable, and well equipped. Beds and couches were very cozy. We appreciated the ‘extras’- magnifying mirrors in the bathroom, snuggly blankets in the living room, ‘real’ coffee maker, swimming towels, quality cutlery, etc. Washing machine pods and DW pods were also provided. We had everything we wanted and felt right at home. Highly recommend!

Nice house in great small community close to the action

The house is in a nice smaller community that is within a short distance to town. The house was well appointed in the kitchen (which my wife greatly appreciates!) and in great condition. With COVID changing everything these days it was great there was a nice community pool that wasn't overrun by people for our 4 kids to use. We had a lot of fun floating down the river just a few minutes from the house and going on a couple hikes within a 30 minute drive. We had initially wanted to stay in Sun River, but we're actually glad we ended up staying here. I would highly recommend!

Girls weekend in the wilderness

My girlfriends and I had a wonderful weekend together in this lovely retreat so close to EVERYTHING!! And yet still with the peace and quiet and serenity of the outdoors at our front door. Well equipped kitchen with all the extras. Loved that they include all the extras to enjoy the fabulous kitchen. Had a lot of fun exploring the trails along the river right out the door, swimming pool, hot tub, and a mere 15 minute walk to downtown and all the shops. The host made themselves available to any questions we have. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS for a girls weekend, a romantic getaway or a family holiday. Simple lovely!

Everything great!

This home worked perfectly for us--four older women who get together annually to cross county ski and snow shoe. The home was very clean and spacious, the beds comfortable, and the kitchen amply supplied. Since we like to cook, we were especially pleased that we found all we needed including things often missing in vacation homes such as a lime squeezer, carrot peeler, and good knives. The location was also perfect--not far from town so that we could easily get groceries. The area is very quiet yet a short drive to the main highway leading to skiing. With a garage, we were able to keep our car out of the snow. When we couldn't get the dishwasher to work (whoops, our fault for putting something in there that kept the door from latching), Ken was gracious and also looked up another place for us to ski since Mt. Bachelor was swirling with a little too much wind and snow for our taste. All four women agreed that this was a lovely place and definitely recommend it to others.

Although there were close neighbors it didn't feel that way. Plenty of trees and privacy. We saw deer and enjoyed the antics of the squirrels on the large porch.

We had a wonderful stay here. All the amenities you could want at a vacation rental…clean, kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of towels in the bathrooms, parking for our 2 rental cars, etc. And we were graciously granted an early check-in as well.We would love to stay here again if the need ever arises. Hosts/owners were very communicative and friendly. Highly recommend.
