This property is an all-brick Cape Cod home on the loveliest street of an historic Baltimore neighborhood. This adorable home has 3 bedrooms and a recently restored full bath on the upper floor. For sleeping arrangements, one bedroom has one king size bed, a second bedroom has two twin size beds as well as a desk work area, and the precious little middle bedroom has a twin bed. We also have a portable crib (pack n play) available to set up that is stored in the closet of the middle bedroom. There is a living room on the main floor with a decorative fireplace, and a bright, cozy family room area with lots of toys, books, and games. The basement has also been recently redone with all new flooring and drywall, and we have more toys downstairs too! There is a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer in the basement. This is a non-smoking property. The home has a private, fenced backyard for you to enjoy. We have a grill and grill tools available for use, and a swing set for small children. If you come in late April/early May, you will be treated to the spectacular display of our large azaleas that grace one entire side of the yard. There is a large, beautiful park just a 5 minute walk from the house that has great play equipment areas, a disc golf course, and a stream with walking trails. For you history buffs, the neighborhood was designed by landscape architect Frederick Law Olmstead who was a pioneer in suburban development and also the designer (in partnership with Calvert Vaux) of Central Park in New York City. Sudbrook Park is known as one of the very first 'suburbs' in the nation. There are many beautiful, historic homes to enjoy if you like to walk or run for exercise. The house is just 20 minutes by car from downtown Baltimore, or, 1 mile from a metro station. It's 15 minutes from the train station where you could take a train to D.C., Philadelphia, or even New York, for the day. It's centrally located for lots of mid-East-coast tourism. With a car, it's less than 90 minutes from historic civil war sites like Antietam and Gettysburg, the bustling metros of Baltimore, D.C., and Philadelphia, and the lovely (and historic) state capitol town of Annapolis. Lots of adventures to be had during the day, and a quiet place to come home to at night. Your home away from home is waiting for you!
