The apartment was great for our trip. We loved the location and the shops in the neighbourhood are delightful.Parking was not available for us for the first night. We told the host about it and she took care of it for the second night.
Fully functional apartment with kitchen, fridge , washer, dryer. Nice location downtown with options for various food and coffee shops. Small but stocked grocery around the corner. Trails nearby. Recommend hiking Willouby Lake Herbert Hawkes trail. During our stay, the adjacent HVAC units outside bedroom were unusually squeaky but hopefully that is not normal.
It was a great apartment - very stylish. This was conveniently located to what downtown Hardwick has to offer - cool cafe, bar and pizza joint, Chinese restaurant, and local Co-op. More than I could take advantage of when we spent our days skiing at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center.
We were looking for a place to stay close to Hill Farmstead and this was the perfect option. It was clean, the building was unique and the town was fantastic. We will stay here again!

ank you, Kristi, for your very nice review.
People love Hill Farmstead beer. As a matter of fact, I pick up beer about once a month for a former and ongoing guest who returns several times a year to (sometimes) stay and pick up his haul!
Comfortably, quiet, well equipped location for a week long work visit to Hardwick. Very easy check in and out. Steps away from everything I needed. Would gladly stay here again!
This was a very pleasant stay in a great location within Hardwick. The restaurant downstairs was delicious and the area was incredibly safe. The street traffic can get to be somewhat noisy, but that’s to be expected for the intersection outside, but nothing TV or some music can’t drown out.
Stayed for a long weekend. Apartment was clean and spacious for myself, my partner, and our dog. Great location right in the middle of town. Claudia was attentive and provided lots of pointers on local hikes and shops. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Claudia’s apartment was clean, comfortable, and a short drive to Craftsbury Outdoor Center, Hill Farmstead Brewery, and Willey’s General Store! Hardwick has excellent food options, a delightful indie bookstore, & a good coffee shop. The apartment is well stocked for cooking too. Would definitely stay again.

Thanks, again, for your help measuring space for me. Next time you come, there will be a new entrance way rug and a new toaster oven! Hope you’ll return.
We tremendously enjoyed our stay. The apartment was large enough to accommodate two couples traveling together. The location in downtown Hardwick was fantastic - easy walk to the rail trail or nature trails, several good restaurants, diner, coffee shop, and co-op food market. Easy drive to Stowe and other destinations in the Northeast Kingdom. Will stay here again!
Spacious, thoughtful two-bedroom layout that was a comfortable home away from home for four days. The well-stocked kitchen and included washer/dryer were essential while traveling with our five-month-old. And the apartment’s central location made it easy to walk to all of Hardwick’s core offerings. We really enjoyed our stay!
This was our first vrbo outing but if all properties are like this, it won't be our last. The apt was clean and comfortable and, except for the temps, made our visit very enjoyable. Thanks C for an excellent option in Hardwick
We enjoyed our stay in this clean and cozy apartment. Plenty of room, comfortable and safe. Our host was friendly and helpful.
With two restaurants and a coffee shop within 2 minute walk, and groceries (at the co-op) less than 5 minute walk, we had everything we needed.
Comfortable, clean and stylish with attention to detail in a very cool building with all the amenities and in walking distance to everything!! Lovely and available host. Just perfect!
The property was great! Had all the things we needed for our three week visit. The host was easy to communicate prior to our visit. Upon arriving the host made sure we were comfortable and answered any questions we had. The location was in a perfect spot for food and activities. The experience was so positive we are planning a return visit.
We had a wonderful time at Claudia’s building. The in town location was so convenient (croissants, lattes and a pizza place right downstairs!) and the apartment is beautiful. The wood work even coming through the building is lovely (rare for apartment buildings I’ve been in!) and the outside area out back has really grown in beauty (great work, Claudia!). We are excited to come back for our next visit :)
Exceeded our expectations. The apartment was so quaint and cozy and had everything we would ever need. Great location for everything we had on our to do list which was look at the fall foliage, seek out covered bridges and just feel what Vermont is like in the fall. Claudia called in and checked on us before our arrival and made it known that if we needed anything she was just a call away. Would love to stay again!
I was drawn to this property by other high ratings. When I arrived, I found the property to be occupied. The owner reassigned me to an alternate apartment in the same building which was above a restaurant and directly above front door to the building which required slamming to close, causing my room to vibrate each time the door slammed. The main living space was not air conditioned, and the temperature was 82 degrees on the room thermostat. The apartment faced Main Street, which was loud. In summary, due to a misunderstanding, I did not actually inhabit apartment 3B, as planned. For all I know, that place may have been delightful and worthy of prior stellar ratings, but I didn’t have the opportunity to stay there as booked. The owner did her best to pivot, including providing me with a compensatory coffee shop gift certificate. Unless you’re deaf, very tolerant of heat in the summer, and wouldn’t mind the room shaking several times per hour, I don’t think you would enjoy a stay in Apartment 2B.
The location was good. The place was not in good standing when we arrive- stained sofa, mold/dirty shower curtain, kitchen sink was not cleaned, used brilliant pad out, moldy smell. We had a wedding so we didn't have time to rebooked- So, washed all blankets - covered sofa, and made it bearable. Host changed curtain, apologized, but had a not- so professional comment for me- no need for that. Already paid in full. I dont recommend- Hardwick is a nice town, so not too many options- but keep looking!
