About this property
'Waters Edge' Romantic Cottage-Dogs Welcomed
Dogs? Seeking romantic retreat? Enjoy both! Dogs revered and welcome to this 1 BR cottage with exellent frontage. Used by 3 movie companies. Kayaks, antiquing, fishing, hiking, all linens, views on sparkling 3 1/2 mile long Joe's Pond, W. Danville. Near I-89, 91 & 93.Each year a fascinating pair of Loons appears daily out front with their offspring. At night their calls echo unforgettably. French Doors open to a breakfast deck right on the water. Excellent client reviews, especially from honeymooning couples. All dogs report this is the best place to chase sticks and balls into the water that they can remember! NO partial weeks from July 4th to labor day, just full weeks. Exception last minute bookings we might be able to do fewernights. Please call if you have a dog, would like to talk to you. I LOVE dogs. …. I have many! Thank you Maryellen 802-236-1809.NOTE WELL DUE TO STAFFING/ SUNDAY CHECKINS preferred but we may be able to help with other check in days
Now some caveats. I strongly suggest some form of rental insurance. I’ve
Also if you are going to book September October please be sure you know how to make a fire in a woodstove. There is no central heat and I would not want anyone uncomfortable as it can get a bit nippy at night. We do provide plenty of wood and space heaters.
Bring drinking water.
Verizon cell phones do not work at the cottage but there is a regular phone there. AT&T does work and I don’t know about other providers. At the corner of the lake where routes 2 and 15 intersect I was able to access Verizon most of the time.
Vacations are a very special time . I am putting these statements in so you have no surprises. Waters Edge is a magical spot and my favorite place on earth. Best to all, Mary Ellen
