About this property
Private RV Camping on the Connecticut River with local mountain views!!
This is a unique, private RV camping experience in a peaceful, picturesque waterfront setting along the beautiful Connecticut River on the border of Vermont and New Hampshire. The Upper River Valley of New Hampshire offers beautiful scenery along with awesome river and mountain views! We offer luxurious camping at it's best in an immaculate, bright, modern, spacious 36' RV with 3 slides to create a roomy and comfortable interior living space for your enjoymentThis beautiful property in Monroe, NH is awe-inspiring with incredible views everywhere you look! This recently acquired RV is situated on a private riverfront 6.5 acre parcel and it offers our guests another special place to stay with views of the Connecticut River other than our popular "Loft at River's Edge"
This classy RV is very spacious with it's 3 slides and offers most of the comforts of home! We chose this RV for it's tastefully decorated & nicely furnished living room with with sofa, TV, and fireplace. There's a DVD player with movies, recliners for relaxing in and taking in the nice river view. There's a good sized kitchen complete with microwave, stove, refrigerator, plenty of well-stocked cupboards and drawers, and a nice kitchen table with 4 comfy upholstered chairs. The cozy bedroom is "upstairs" and set apart from the main living area and it has a sink and shower as well as a toilet with door. The bedroom has a king b d and it can be closed off to create privacy from the rest of the home. In the bedroom there are 2 large closets with sliding mirrored doors, built-in bureaus, drawers and a few hooks to hang your clothes on. You can walk around the bed and for an RV bedroom this is actually quite spacious! There's cross-ventilation with a large awning window and smaller double hung window.
The RV has air conditioning to keep you cool on a hot day and guests can turn on the furnace to keep warm in the chilly weather. The interior is in excellent condition and our reputation precedes us as being hosts who offer our guests a very clean and immaculate vacation rental. As owner-operators, we take great pride in keeping our rentals looking exceptional and our guests have done a great job taking good care of our special places, too! Our guests are free to roam the entire 6.50 acre waterfront property and enjoy playing lawn games (bocce, badminton, croquet, frisbee, etc.), laying out under the stars at night to watch shooting stars and discover the constellations, or just finding a secluded place to sit and relax to enjoy the views. Guests are welcome to use our badminton and croquet games on the sprawling lawns as well as take canoes, kayaks or a fishing boat out on the Connecticut River, free of charge.
On the river, you can travel upstream to explore the dam area, and even go around the dam by taking the kayaks out of the river, so you can keep on going to see where it goes and enjoy the beautiful countryside views. Downstream you can explore twists and turns in the river while enjoying scenic vistas along the way. You can even stop at an island open to the public and have a picnic lunch or go swimming!! And don't forget to bring your fishing gear if you like to fish! The river abounds with quite a variety of fresh water fish for you to catch!!
Keep your eyes out for the loon who loves to hang out in front of the house and call out with his lonely cry at night or the bald eagle cruising up and down the river looking for a sitting duck for dinner. There's also a beaver also likes to show himself once in a while so if you hear him slapping the water with his tail, that means he's upset you've found his hiding place!! You will probably see deer run through the property and maybe even a red fox since they enjoy visiting the river's edge for some refreshment.
Most of our guests love spending the evening sitting around one of the fireplaces or fire pits on the property to just reconnect with one another while enjoying making smores or toasting marshmallows. There are plenty of activities to keep busy if that's what you like to do!

We just LOVE staying here! It's so beautiful and peaceful. Sue and Jeff are the best hosts and we didn't need a thing... That have thought of everything. Such a comfy place to stay!!
Property was quiet and private with an amazing river view and wildlife that you can see. We got to hear the Loon at a night. The RV was clean and had what we needed for our 2 night stay. RV also had a picnic table, grill, fire pit and several types of chairs to sit. There was also kayaks and a canoe to use to go on the river. Host has several other rentals in different areas that we will want to look into. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay we definitely recommend this location

This private property is one-of-a kind at the Connecticut River's Edge. There's plenty of seclusion, 15 acres to explore with views, woods, brook, expansive lawns and farmland. With this variety of acreage brings deer, owls, bald eagles, loons, geese, ducks, fish of all types, fox, and an occasional bear or moose. This is a very special view property like none other and, as hosts, we're happy to share it with guests from all walks of life, from around the world!! Come see for yourselves!!
Our first experience of staying in an RV! We had everything we needed, and a great night’s sleep. The location is totally stunning, so peaceful. Sue and Jeff were great hosts, very quick to respond. We would love to visit again, if we ever get the chance to return to the States.
This was our most stunning stay of our trip. The outdoor scenery was incredible, and the RV was squeaky clean and provided everything we needed for our stay. We appreciated all of the amenities even though we did not get a chance to kayak bc of our short stay and weather, we hope to come back again!! Hosts were very sweet and welcoming.
Loved our stay at The River’s Edge! Susan & Jeff were both extremely responsive and kind. Loved the peacefulness and views of the Connecticut River. Exactly the peaceful getaway that we were looking for! Looking forward to coming back in the not so distant future!
What a great spot. Super clean, nicely setup trailer. The grounds were extremely well kept, and everything we could need was provided. We were already discussing our return before we departed. Definitely coming back!
This was so beautiful!! We absolutely loved it. We had a nice fire in the evening, grilled some burgers, and showed off our horrible boating skills (honestly it was fun to just row in circles and laugh, but the river is calm and has lovely views). It is easy to drive to the market for anything you need or other small towns for a day trip. We had minor issues with outside lights but it made it more fun to see things by firelight and fireflies. Thank you!
