We loved the location of the house. We were able to walk to everything. The house was the perfect size for us and it was cool to stay in a older home. Erin from Northwoods Resort was awesome with communicating. We would definitely stay there again.

A great place for the family to stay in Munising. Walking distance to several shops and restaurants downtown as well as some of the boat tours. The house was very spacious and had a nice big dining room for family dinners after hikes. We stayed in late August and only had to run the ACs one night, it stayed really nice and cool the other nights with the windows open. A super quick drive from the park as well.

Being a Munising native, it was a treat to stay in this house with my family. There were 7 adults & 1 child. Space enough to spread out& have privacy and then all get together for meals & visiting. The front porch is perfect for morning coffee & afternoon/evening sitting. The kitchen is amazingly large & very well stocked with cooking essentials. The house is within walking distance of everything. Overall, an amazing stay.

Perfect location to the Pictured Rocks cruise and restaurants in town. This home has lots of room to spread out. We felt safe and had good communication with the owners.

House is BIG and historic and fit our whole family, and hosts were very communicative and accommodating! Location RULES - super close to the water and shops and parks and restaurants. We had a nice stay! That said, some things could be easy wins for updates: swing on porch is broken, paint on deck is peeling (we couldn’t spend any time out there with our baby), AC units are nice to have but can’t be used overnight bc they are louder than a steam train. The shower is verrrrrry outdated and stinky, and there are broken blinds in the living room that can’t stay opened. Would stay again, but these are notable things!

Great family vacation spot!

We enjoyed the size of the home and its walking proximity to shops and restaurants. It was also convenient to the pontoon rental, and many waterfalls.
Great photo spot in the stairwell.
The driveway was spacious enough for corn hole.

Spacious and cute

Great place to stay. Walking distance to the boat tours. It's an older home, which has its own charm, but also has older home quirks like opening the doors, so once you master that, it's all good. Beds were nice. I would stay here again.

Fantastic location in a fantastic area! We loved the roomy house, the big front porch, the playground a block away, and the beautiful lake and dock just up the street!

Guys trip snowmobiling the UP

Wonderful spot for a large group of snowmobiliers. Close to gas, trails, food, downtown. Place was older but clean. Had everything we needed.

We stayed at this VRBO (2 tweens 5 adults) to celebrate our friend's 40th birthday. The VRBO was a great spot to walk to everything in downtown Munising and was a great hub to drive to different spots in the U.P. (Marquette, Tahquamenon Falls, etc.). I would recommend some paint touchups here and there throughout the house, but those are merely cosmetic changes. Thanks for a great stay overall!

Great Location

The house was big and just as described in the listing. All of the bedrooms are upstairs and the downstairs is very spacious with a lot of nice furniture. The location can't be beat. We were able to walk to downtown Munising and to the tour boat.

Great Location

We stayed with 6 adults and had plenty of room. The house is very old but clean. We only stayed 2 nights so it served us well. Location is a 10 out of 5. Walking distance to everything if you choose. We are all over the age of 50 so this house brought back some nostalgia of our younger days. House 5 of 5 Location 5 of 5.

Wedding Weekend

The house is a beautiful old house. Because it’s old there is the normal wear and tear but there have been some upgrades including living room furniture not pictured at the time we made our reservations. Our primary need was close to town and a large house which it provided.

Great proximity to downtown. Not enough towels for the amount of people we had in our party and unable to initially locate blankets for pull out bed. Owners never responded when asked about each of these items. House has a lot of potential but could definitely use some work. Water stained walls, peeling paint. Only 1 shower, however we were aware of this before booking. Would probably not stay here again.
