Enjoy a luxurious stay in a bright, very quiet house located on a private street very close to downtown San Jose. The house is one block away form all the major highways that connect Silicon Valley to San Francisco, East Bay and Pacific Coast.
Bright and clean, the house has everything a traveler might need to enjoy San Jose. The house has 2 bedrooms, private bath with a shower, well equipped kitchen with a Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, microwave, gas stove, refrigerator. Living room has a comfortable sleeper couch that converts into a Queen size bed, it has a digital TV with over the air programming. WiFi is available throughout the house.
Also enjoy a spacious backyard with a patio under beautiful huge pine trees with reclining chairs to have a break after a long day and to bask in the afternoon California sun.
There is a nice park nearby for kids to play, golf practice range walking distance from the house, shopping area one block away and plenty of restaurants with a multitude of international cuisine options.
Our house is located on a private street that is shared with an elementary school. So it has a happy noisy ambience of children at play in the mornings and is very-very quiet after school hours.
The neighbors are extremely friendly and will be happy to chat with you if you have a moment to spare.

We've been living in Silicon Valley, California for the last 26 years. We love this place. It's incredibly beautiful. Pacific coast is a short 20 min drive away with breathtaking vistas. San Jose is the center of Silicon Valley, it is full of history , it has many nice museums, theaters, parks for everyone to enjoy.
San Francisco with all the major attractions is a 40 min drive to the north.
This area has so much to offer. For the lover of outdoor adventure there are many beautiful hikes, biking trails, redwood groves to explore and hidden beaches to surf. For the gourmand there are many word class wineries, Zagat rated restaurants, shopping.
And on top of this all we enjoy incredible weather throughout the year. So there is no bad season to visit California.

Why they chose this property
We loved the subtle Mexican ambience of this place. It has a unique character and it is very charming. The fact that it is located on a private street was also an additional plus for us because we love our privacy. The neighbors are really nice and very-very friendly. The school in front is a private academy for elementary school children and the noise of kids playing outside adds a sense of comfort and security in the morning hours while the street becomes extremely quiet in the afternoon and on the weekends.

The place is very secure and quiet because of its unique location. At the same time it's very close to all the major highways making it very convenient for a business traveler.
