180 feet of low bank waterfront! Seclusion with incredible views of Mt Rainier

Want to get away from it all quickly? We have you covered in this well stocked home. Sure to cure your cabin fever, you can enjoy sun all day long in this south facing, low bank waterfront home! Featured on the A & E Network show Vacation Rental Potential Season 2.
You'll enjoy soaring views of Mount Rainier and the lapping waves from nearly every room. Over-sized refrigerator and freezer means you are stocked for your vacation away from it all and your gas cook top and dishwasher keep things easy. Walk out access to any one of several patios for lunch, or perhaps you want to roast marshmallows over the fire pit. Paddle board or Kayak around Point Robinson. You can choose from three master bedroom suites, if you decide on the one downstairs you'll have the entire wing to yourself. Your double shower looks out on the beach and so does your jacuzzi jetted tub! No need to fight over the closet space, you each have your own closet. You can walk out to your private patio and light a fire in the wood burning fireplace, or if you want to stay inside you have a gas burning fireplace in the bedroom to keep you cozy. If you choose the master bedroom upstairs, you'll enjoy your own private balcony to search for whales or just watch the ships go by. The bath is equipped with double sinks and a shower and bath combination. The third bedroom is equipped with a queen bed and a fireplace for those crisp fall evenings. The kids have their own space in one of two dens, they can curl up and read or *gulp* play video games on the play room tv. Hopefully you will keep them busy on beach finding shells and identifying sea stars on your nearly private beach. Neighbors are hard to come by, but memories won't be!

Master Bedroom (Downstairs) with 6 piece bath (bidet): King Bed l Master Bedroom (Upstairs) Double sinks and bath and shower combo: King Bed l Bedroom 3 with it's own bathroom including shower: Queen Bed | Playroom: Sleeper Sofa

Come explore this 1.5-acre property with 180 feet of waterfront nestled between Maury Island Mariner park with some of the best hiking trails on Vashon and Point Robinson.

Nearly every room looks out on the ocean, and large windows and sliding glass doors stream in natural sunlight.

In the sunken living room, you can flop onto the leather couch to watch the game on the 65 inch television or ask Alexa to play your favorite song.

Now this is where things could get tricky. Which outdoor deck will become your favorite? Watch the ships go by and enjoy the ocean breezes.

If you find yourself wanting to explore the island, you've got tons of shops, galleries, tasting rooms and coffee shops to choose from.

The slogan on island is "Keep Vashon Weird" and it is definitely unique. Enjoy the local cuisine, they pride themselves as foodies and try to carve out some time for the Saturday Farmer’s Market.

Want to enjoy a round of golf or drive yourself crazy trying to learn the game? Vashon Island golf and swim club is just down the street. Use the course or pool for just $20 and you won't be disappointed if you end up at the Greenside Grill.

A reminder Seattle is just a short foot ferry away, catch a Mariners/Seahawks/Sounders game, catch a fish at Pike Place Market or make your way to the top of the Space Needle.

We had a wonderful stay! The views of Mt. Rainier were absolutely stunning, and we loved watching all the wildlife right from the property. It was the perfect balance- close enough to enjoy Seattle during the day, yet peaceful and quiet for unwinding in the evenings. The home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and Angie was fantastic to communicate with. We also loved exploring the island’s charming shops and great restaurants. Truly a gem of a place!

Our Home away from Home

It has the most beautiful views, location and privacy of any rental on Vashon. We can't wait to go back. The renovations are amazing and perfectly inviting.

Family Trip

The home worked great for our family getaway. The location is very special, with minimal neighbors you feel like you have the island to yourself. Plenty of relaxing spaces both in and outside. We had some trouble with e-lock but property manager was quick to respond and assist.

Still amazing!

We stayed at Angie's place for the first time 2 years ago and have been dying to come back again. This time we brought more of our family with us just to experience the beautiful serenity of this property. The house is open with lots of windows to appreciate the view and the access to the water is unparalleled. We're already looking at a date to come back again next year.

Beach time

Our stay at the beach house was fantastic, with all the amenities as advertised. We had a couple of minor issues and the owner handled it right away. We are a family of 8 between 40 and 80 and all of us had a wonderful time just sitting on the beach playing games, painting and just enjoying the beautiful scenery, passing ships and ever changing tides! Many thanks to Angie the owner.

Lovely setting

Angie’s place is on a lovely piece of property. When the weather is clear, you get nice views of Mt. Rainier, and we enjoyed using the kayaks to paddle around the “backyard.” We saw lots of birds & an occasional seal. Views from the house are all excellent. Nice to relax by a fire out back. Angie was great with communication. Downsides - it’s a 30+ min drive to the ferry and then 20 min ferry ride to west Seattle. I didn’t read the fine print & assumed there was a bridge. A few times the ferry was full & we had to wait an hour for the next one. I’d also say the bathrooms could be updated. That said, it really is a lovely setting; unforgettable, really. Glad to have had the experience.

Beautiful seclusion!

This house is right on the beach so secluded from everything else. There is one close neighbor tucked behind the trees but you still feel so alone out there! The view is glorious and the master room feels luxurious ❤️. Plenty of room for the kids to sleep and such cool balcony off the upstairs with a telescope! Washer & dryers were a great help when traveling with kids and Angie would message to see if we had any questions. Lots of really cool games that kept the kids busy when they weren’t on the beach. Our whole family loved looking for shells and interesting rocks! We had seals come up to our kayak and a sea otter come up to the beach within 10ft of us to eat his fish. Deer were all over the island and black berries growing along the beach and roads. The s’mores Angie provided were a really sweet surprises for our kids and none of us wanted to leave!

Excellent in Every Way

Truly wonderful property. The home is clean, spacious, full of light and warmth, beautifully and tastefully decorated, and comfortable. Amazing views -- what a treat to make breakfast muffins while watching the sun come up over the sound and the mountain peak out from behind the clouds. Beach access is right outside the door. We saw a pod of orca whales -- a rare and magical sight. I was blessed to be up in the home's lighthouse when they swam through area - what a view! Also saw a mature eagle fly over the house, as well as playful seals. We enjoyed the paddleboard and kayak when the water was calm. We stayed close to shore; the water was so clear that we could see purple and orange sea stars, anemones, large crabs, and other life on the sea floor. Habitat appears very healthy in this area. Friendly and available host (thank you, Angie), lots of bed options, well-stocked kitchen. We had fun trying out the espresso machine, keurig, and french press (but no drip pot). Also enjoyed nosing around the little town's cute shops. Note the last road to the house is a dirt hill, sometimes steep with sharp bends - well worth the final destination. We felt thankful and privileged to stay at this grand estate.

This place was absolutely stunning and so peaceful. We pulled down the massive hill and we were greeted by a beautiful picture of the house with Mt. Rainier shining in the backdrop. We spent all evening taking pictures. Eventually, we did see one orca in the backyard! We did a lot of traveling but the ferry was super easy to use. The island is very quaint and full of nice people. Beds were comfortable and the whole house has a cozy feel to it. The kitchen is totally stocked and made us few at home. The worst part was how hard it was to stop staring out the windows at the mesmerizing view. We told everyone we know about it. If we ever come back, we will never be able to stay anywhere else. We’re spoiled now!

The most amazing property with a gorgeous view of Mt. Ranier. I could sit on that beach all day. All bedrooms are master suites, Kitchen is fully stocked. Outside of picking up a few groceries everything was there. The host was phenomenal and didn't miss one detail. Heated toilet seats!!So many good restaurants and I would go back tomorrow if I could. Definitely try the Vashon Bake Company, Snapdragon and Anthony's at the Tacoma Ferry. Those were our favorites but they were all good. You will not be disappointed with this property.

We had a wonderful stay in this house! The property is right on the waterfront. The views are magnificent and there are so many seating options from which you can enjoy every aspect of the water and beach. We saw a wide variety of wildlife when sitting outside and also when paddling along the shore using the house canoes. The house faces a busy shipping lane and watching the ships go by became another pastime! The living room is a cosy, comfortable place to sit and watch TV but the weather was beautiful for our stay and so we were usually outside! The dining tables, outside and in, are a very good size. The kitchen is really well equipped and we appreciated access to the basic items in the pantry. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. What more could you want from a beachfront property!

Perfect!

This place was better than advertised! You basically have the entire shoreline to yourself. We strolled up and down exploring ocean treasures several times daily. The kids asked if we could return during summer on day one! The kitchen is great! We cooked an entire thanksgiving dinner no problem. They had a closet full of games we enjoyed and an amazing outdoor area for enjoying the water. Several spots with seating and several fire pits. We had a lovely s’more party one evening! The house has several large windows. We were able to enjoy the ocean view from almost every part of the house. I can’t say enough about how beautiful and perfect this place is. You will not be disappointed! 😃

We love Vashon! We recently bought this as a second home and while we wish we could spend every waking moment in it, we have 2 very busy boys who keep us running to basketball tournaments and baseball games constantly! That means you get to use it until things quiet down-- in about a decade.

Why they chose this property

I told the hubs, I wanted three things if we bought another house on Vashon. One, it had to be on the beach... check.
Two, it had to face south to have sun all day... check.
Three, it had to have a view of Mount Rainier, it signifies the NW to me... check.
This property is stunning-- it makes me feel healthy and happy... and I feel it every time I drive up to it.

What makes this property unique

Kids love it... it has a light house, not a real light house but apparently the original owner was a fan of the architecture... or he was a kid himself, it is my kids favorite part of the house, but a warning you have to take two ladders to get to the top.
