About this property
Cozy "Up North" Cabin in the woods with Pentwater Lake frontage and access
Welcome to Cozy Cove Cabins, a historic part of Pentwater tradition that was renovated in 2018. Cozy Cove has been around for decades, and consists of the cottage and 4 Bel Air log cabins. Bel Air log cabins are found all over northern Michigan and are named after the town of Bel Air where they originated.
Cabin 4 is referred to as "Up North," and sleeps 8. The cabin is roughly 600 square feet with an open floor plan. The main sleeping area sleeps 2 on the double bed, the sofa sleeper has a queen pull out that sleeps 2, and the front porch is another "bedroom," with 2 sets of bunk beds, sleeping 4 more. The living room has features a sofa, chairs, and flat screen smart tv. The cabin has an updated bath and fully equipped kitchens. The rental also provides access to paddle boats, kayaks, and paddle boards, as available. The cabin sits on a couple of wooded acres on the lake, providing waterfront, woods, and access to beaches and the pier.
We do have a limited number of boat slips available for an additional $200/week. Please check for availability with your reservation. Slips will be held, upon request, as part of your reservation, and cash payment is due upon arrival.

We had a wonderful stay at Cozy Cove. The hosts were very responsive throughout and truly wanted everything to go smoothly for our stay. Cabin was very clean and as expected.
Rustic, but comfortable and quiet. Really can't see the lake due to house and trees. Lake down quite a bluff, so we just didn't go down after the first time.

Nicely Updated Cabin
The cabin was nicely updated and felt much larger then I thought it would. My only concern was that the front porch that was converted to a bedroom had only a "screendoor". I would have expected a real door. And the weather turned cold for our visit and that room was quite chilly. Overall, the cabin was very clean, well stocked and a good location for our visit to Silver Lake Dunes, Ludington State Park and downtown Pentwater.

We recently added a storm door to the front porch entrance.
Thanks for the recommendation!
Super super happy with this rental and all the toys they have as well, paddle boats, floats, even outdoor games that were brand new! We have been coming to Pentwater for over 30 years but this visit showed us parts we’ve never seen! 10/10 will be coming back here again!
The cabin is cozy and very clean. It had updated furnishings. It is located in a wooded area . The neighborhood is very nice . The property is located in a cozy corner of the lake. The lake access is in front of the owners home. The location is on a hill so there are steps so you need to be able to do steps. The boat dock is wonderful . The sunset in the morning is beautiful . We seen wildlife . In the morning we seen deer come out to the lake to drink. We had a very pleasant experience . The owners are great people.
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the cabin up north. It’s a quaint cabin that isn’t extravagant yet isn’t primitive! Its setting in the semi private community on the lake was just what we needed! Thanks to Dale and Julie for having us!
Originally from the Lansing, Michigan area, my family frequently vacationed at Charles Mears State Park in Pentwater, enjoying the beach, putt-putt, and the small beach-town community. It makes me smile to meet guests from all over the country, and share lake life with other families as they make lasting memories.
Why they chose this property
We are located on the south side of Pentwater Lake in a quiet area. We are a short drive to downtown or Silver Lake Sand Dunes, and a quick bike ride to Pentwater Pathways or to Chester Street Park which has a boardwalk to the channel and pier to Lake Michigan.
