Enjoy your Summer Beach Retreat at this Spacious Cottage located on 1 acre of land that is 3 blocks walking distance to Newcomb Beach .....1 of 5 Lake Michigan beaches on the North Side of South Haven.
Freshly repainted throughout Dec, 2023.

The yard is spacious with gardens, and lots of children's play space.
Viewing nature at it's finest, often deer & wild turkeys are seen in the back yard!

And, you can easily walk a few blocks to see a beautiful, picturesque sunset over
Lake Michigan! A nice path for riding bikes is across the street so you can ride
or walk to the Lake and nearby subdivision with your family... basketball courts
are close by also at Baseline Middle School for older children

Great Stay in South Haven

This was the perfect time of year to come stay! We had great, cool weather. The walk down the beach was quick and easy. We played in the backyard and drove into town. It takes about 45-60 minutes to get to Grand Rapids and 30 minutes up to Holland to see the tulips. Overall a great stay and a comfortable home to sleep and spend time.

Lovely Property

We had a lovely stay at this property. The bathrooms and kitchen were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The home had everything we needed for our stay. The beach was a short walk away and the community is safe. You must try Sherman’s ice cream while there.

We loved the location and the accomodations except felt needed dish cloths and towels. We have stayed here 3 times and enjoyed it each time. We saw 8 deer one morning and lots of squirrels

Wonderful Accommodation in South Haven!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The property was clean, inviting, and had all the amenities as listed. The yard was beautiful and a great accompaniment to the home. Location was great as it was close to the water yet quiet. Check in and check out was easy and the hosts responded promptly to my messages. I would highly recommend staying here!

Clean and convenient

The home was clean, quiet, and close to the beach and South Haven. We enjoyed watching the deer and hanging out on the porch. All the rooms were nice sized and would easily fit more people.

Peaceful and very accommodating!

This had both quiet country side with deer and other friendly birds. The lake was so close, clean and never over crowded! All amenities were available to us. Thanks for this little piece of heaven!

I really loved the cozy cottage and all the amenities. The beach access was a quick walk. I enjoyed the back deck as well as the huge yard and wildlife coming thru the yard. I really do not have any complaints we all had a great vacation and would return again.

Perfect location and amenities

We have been coming to the sand dunes for years- this is the first time we did a VRBO… we won’t be able to go back to a hotel. This house was perfect for 3 older teens and their moms. It was a perfect girls get away- we will be back!!!! Thank you for your hospitality.

Excellence all around

Griffin Pointe is a great place to stay in South Haven. The location is great. It's a short drive or walk to several beaches, parks, fabulous restaurants (Taste) and shops. The house is very clean and has everything you need. We had four girls in our group. We each had our own bed, and it was great to have 2 full bathrooms! Sitting out on the deck we saw 2 deer and a buck in the yard. I would highly recommend Griffin Pointe for your stay in South Haven.

Enjoy wildlife

Such a cute , comfortable place to stay. Loved it being in an area that’s not so busy but close to everywhere such as town and beach. The shower in the big bathroom is awesome. The house had everything we needed. We enjoyed the activity of the turkeys and mom deerand babies.

Family vacation

Our family has vacationed in South Haven for the past 10 years. This was our first year staying on the North side of the beach and we loved it! It was close proximity to the water but also secluded and private. Plenty of space for a family of 6 and very clean and well kept. Large yard for the kids to play and we loved seeing all the deer, wild turkeys and bunnies throughout the day! I would just suggest bringing your own toilet paper, paper towel, trash bags and household essentials. We were not prepared for that. Great stay!

Very cute, comfortable, "beachy" home down the block from the beach and close to downtown South Haven. Great yard with deck, corn hole, fire pit, and beach chairs and toys, wagon and cookers for the beach. Nice neighborhood. Hosts were quick to respond. The house was very clean and well appointed. I would recommend this place and we'd stay again.

The house is adorable and great area. Be warned, the beds/mattresses are not comfortable. I would not want to sleep on them for an extended stay.

Perfect Getaway

What a GREAT property! We loved the warm welcome with a little chalk sign! The beach-themed décor made us feel that vacation vibe right away. Our little ones absolutely loved seeing the wildlife that visited the yard each day: deer, turkeys, and even a ground hog. The beds were comfortable and the couches gave us a great hangout to watch TV together. The location is excellent, being just a quick drive to downtown, but being away so that it could also be quiet. The walk to Newcomb Beach is easy and doable for the 4 year old. It was obvious that the hosts genuinely care about their guests having a wonderful experience! We will be back for sure!!

Great house, no scale!

Great yard with wildlife! Appreciated extras in the shed (cooler, beach chairs). Bring your bikes for the Kal Haven bike trail. My husband appreciated the fact that there was no scale in the bathroom since we enjoyed great food and pies!😃

Pleasantly surprised

Truly one of the best south haven properties I have ever stayed in. I have rented from VRBO for the past 5 years to stay 4 days in south haven and this was the cleanest and best equipped house I have stayed in. Typically you rent a house and there isn’t any hand soap or toilet paper etc etc but this house has it all to the point that me and the people I stayed with were over prepared, which is such an awesome feeling. The owner Patti was such a sweetheart and great with communication during our stay. And the overall cleanliness of the house was a total perk. We will definitely be staying here again!! The perfect bang for your buck to enjoy beautiful South Haven :D

What a nice surprise

We thought from viewing the pictures on line that the house would be adequate, but were pleasantly surprised on arrival to find this sweet little place nicely decorated, extremely well equipped and wonderfully comfortable. We are older ladies, so walking to the beach from here would have been difficult, but there are at least three lovely beaches within a very short drive. We watched the sunset every evening before returning to the house to relax, have a glass of wine and enjoy the comforts of home. Would definitely return.
