I have stayed at Sunset Manor a couple times now, and the experience never disappoints. It's couple blocks to the beach and equally near shopping and restaurants. The space is immaculate and cozy. I don't need a lot of space because when I'm in South Haven, I spend as much time as possible outdoors, but I appreciate having a space that is so pleasant.

Perfect getaway

This place was lovely! Very clean and comfy, Barb was a great host too! Just a few blocks from the beach, this is the perfect place to stay for a beach getaway. Will definitely be returning next summer!

Beautiful property!

This was our first trip to Michigan and it couldn't have been any nicer! The accommodations were perfect for my wife and I. It was a beautiful, charming, very clean and updated room. It is in a beautiful, safe neighborhood, just down the street from the beach and within walking distance to everything. The property was beautifully kept and Barb was amazing. She is so friendly and helpful. We are already looking at dates to come back next year. Thank you Barb for making our trip one to remember!

Will stay again!

Not only was Barb accommodating, her home was cozy and perfect for my husband and I. The location was perfect, 4-minute walk to the beach and about 8 minute walk to the shops and restaurants! The beach in South Haven was lovely, the sand was clean and soft and the water was clear. Barb's home had a beautiful outdoor space, and very kid friendly. Eire street is whimsical and the landscape is top notch. Will definitely be coming back.

Just perfect!

This lovely studio apartment fit all of our needs. Easy walking distance to downtown and the beach. A comfortable and quiet place to stay. The backyard is lovely. The studio is compact, but very clean with recent updates. If it matters to you, there is no living room or couch to sit on. viewing the TV is from the bed only. We will plan to stay there again.

Cozy getaway

My husband & I stayed recently & had a great time for our first visit in South Haven! We already decided to come back next year with our kids & my parents. We really enjoyed The Taste (get reservations, go early or wait for a late time. Crescent Moon is an awesome local clothing shop. We tried out Six Chicks Scratch Kitchen on Friday am. It was a long wait (longer than promised) and even longer to get our drinks, food, check. The food was delicious & piping hot when we got it though! Just know you may have to wait a good while. Regarding the property, the house is split up into three properties - two on top & one on the bottom (we think!) :) We were in the tiny efficiency on the second floor. There are tons of windows but no curtains (just blinds) so it’s super bright at night & in the am. We found two beach chairs & an umbrella in the closet. Things are well stocked in the room & we were pretty comfortable. A warning that the shower pressure is strong - almost to the point of pain and the water is set to extremely hot. Probably dangerous for kids, actually. The walk to the beach is only a few minutes and the neighborhood is a joy to explore. Restaurants and shops are a few more minutes away (walking the opposite direction) We recommend walking towards the drawbridge to North Beach. There’s a big park there and a trail, also a Maritime Museum. Along with more neat houses to gawk at. :) We highly recommend Sunset Manor & South Haven! Thanks for a nice stay.

This was our first time visiting South Haven......this place great just what we needed at the end of long day exploring. The place was immaculate....loved the back yard gathering place. Just a short walk to the South Beach. We will def come back

So convenient to everything!

Wow, just perfect! Barb‘s studio unit was ideal for my husband and I. We walked to the beach, we walked to the marina, we rented bikes, just a couple blocks away, so that was easy to return. We walked to town and to the farmers market, would not have changed a thing! Clean, convenient and close to beach!

Lovely, many thoughtful touches

My partner and I stayed six nights, Barb was the perfect host. Immaculate, every need anticipated. A well stocked supply closet/laundry room. An old house with character, everything in perfect order, newly renovated, and perfectly appointed for comfort. Downtown and the beach are five minute walks.
