Downtown South Haven, close to everything, family friendly, very clean

Our yellow cottage is located right in South Haven. The historic downtown shopping, restaurants, beaches, pier, and marinas are just a 5 minute drive away. We offer two bedrooms (1 wt king, 1 wt queen), spacious living room with a sleeper sofa. Laundry on site and a pretty nice size back yard.
Check In: anytime after 3. Check out: 10 am
The cottage was once affiliated with the Hotel Nichols right downtown. Although the hotel sold in fall 2017. You can check out our reviews on Trip-advisor. We are ranked #1.

Fourth of July

South haven put together a beautiful celebration with outstanding fireworks, an adorable community parade downtown, and many other events. A lot of walking so be prepared. Local food was tremendous, lots of shopping options, and beautiful north or south beaches to venture along with their piers and boat tours!! My kids and I wished we could stay longer, such a joy.

Cute, cozy, clean & comfortable...

This was my 5-year-old's first official vacation and she was over the moon from the moment she walked in the door. This cottage checked all the boxes. It was cozy, charming, clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals and the grill fired up easily for the brats. Even the neighbor introduced herself. We never contacted our host because everything we needed was already provided. Thank you for making our family vacation so special!

Neat and clean, easy to find.Loved the bag of ice in the freezer. Would recommend fixing the drawer in bathroom that won't stay closed. Two of us have knee problems and had to be careful not to get hurt on it.Previous stay at a different VRBO had a guest book to see other visitor comments and recommended places to visit locally. Would recommend something similar for this location. We missed that here.

comfy cottage

They responded quickly to a last minute request due to a VRBO cancellation. The place was very comfortable, but a few minor supplies were missing, which was understandable, considering our immediate need for a place to stay.

Quaint yellow cottage

The yellow cottage was perfect for our family’s long weekend in South Haven. Although small, it boasts two spacious bedrooms, an updated bathroom, stocked kitchen and nice outdoor space with patio. Our kids kept busy playing with the few toys provided. We fell in love with South Haven and will definitely return!

The Yellow Cottage

The Yellow Cottage is as described in this listing. It was very clean and perfect for our family. It is located near the main roads in South Haven providing easy to access many activities. Our family drove to the beach, as it was a bit too far to walk. And we highly recommend making a trip to Sherman Dairy Bar for ice cream!

Mental Health restore

Thank you for a memorable few nights in my favorite vacation town! As a Nurse practitioner I was needing time alone to regroup, relax and just be! This home was so cozy, clean, and well cared for! I was able to walk into town from this location as long as I used side roads, thanks to Google walking path info. Will return!

Cute home for a family of 4

Very clean. Could not figure out the tv’s but that was probably more a user error. Wish it was a little closer to the beach but would highly recommend. Less than 10 min to north beach and south beach.

"Little Yellow Cottage"

It was a little further away from town and beach than we thought. Didn't feel it was safe to bike to town to Van Buren bike trail or Beach. We made it work by just driving downtown, and to North Beach and to bike trail. Other than that it was wonderful!

We absolutely loved staying in the home. The two beds were very comfortable, it was great having access to the grill to cook! Location was a quick drive to the cute downtown area. Would definitely stay again!!!
