This property and owner were both very nice. Robert met us at check-in and was very helpful with any questions we had. The property is a little piece of paradise. Would recommend this property to anyone looking for piece and tranquility. The wildlife is amazing to watch from the pier and anywhere on the property.
Lovely home, just as pictured. Enjoyed the dock along the Potomac river. Saw 3 bald eagles. Private. Nicely manicured yard. River views. Highly recommend.
The property is situated beautifully inn coltons point and the private pier is absolutely magnificent at all hours. The property is the entire bottom floor of the home with two spacious and private bedrooms. However, there is no stovetop or grill so no accommodations to cook from aside a microwave. Fast food chains are 20 minutes away. Aside from access to in-house cookware, the property is perfect for a weekend getaway. The host was communicative and property is extremely well kept.
I would highly recommend the home at Colton’s Point. The host was very easy to reach with the few questions we had and check-in was easy. The home is obviously cherished and had had everything we need. The property was spectacular. It is quiet, peaceful, and accessible-giving us the opportunity to see and soak in a completely different side of region than most people see. We found good non-chainrestaurants for dinner and breakfast within 15 minutes and there are local places to explore like St Clement’s Island. DC and Baltimore are reachable within less than an hour and a half. I would stay at Colton’s Point again and use it as a contrasting home base to the urban centers. Thank you, Robert
The property is gorgeous and was perfect for a small getaway outside of the city. We really enjoyed spending the day on the dock taking in the sun. We brought our kayaks and had a lovely time exploring the water. We can’t wait to stay here again!
