Lake Front +4800 Sq FT home with 5 Bedrooms and 3.5 baths located on a Cul de Sac Atmosphere on Lake Norman. 1 Acre , 278 linear feet of lake front. Fantastic property for family week long gatherings. large open cove with easy access to all of Lake Norman activities.

Walk out game room with Bar, Fosse Ball table, Arcade game, TV, 1/2 Bath, and Pool table, with walkout to outside bar relaxation area. Large very roomy gourmet kitchen with counter top seating for 7, leading into an informal dinning room with seating for 10-12. Large master suite with walk in shower, dual sinks, and Jacuzzi tub. Each pair of upstairs bed rooms share a single full Bath room, 1 bath is roomy and standard tub/shower the other has walk in shower and Jacuzzi Tub. TV via Fire stick and Google Chrome TV in Den. The master bedroom and 2 other bedrooms, den, game room all have flat screen TV's with Fire sticks for you to enter your accounts. Very large screen in porch stretching the length of the back of the house with full view of the lake (12'X 48') that includes 2 lounge chairs, Sitting area for 4 table seating 6, and a swinging day bed. Laundry room available, and 3 pod and fabric softer are supplied.
Property Outside:
Floating boat dock has room to park up to 4 boats and 2 Jet Ski's, attached to a 50' pier. Outdoor kitchen area with large grill, Sink, Turkey cooker, and twin cook top burners and plenty of counter space with bar seating for 8. Regulation horseshoe pit, Corn Whole Set, and Boccie Ball Court. Large 16'x14' cement patio adjacent to outdoor kitchen with Solo Stove Fire pit and Adirondack chair seating for 6. Also adjacent to the outdoor kitchen is a 20' x 20' deck with a large custom outdoor sectional couch with seating for 10 on the inside and 13 on the outer bar top. This section is excellent for family game time and conversations. Leading from this large deck is a lower deck with high profile Adirondack chairs and lounge chairs that lead further to the grass area with full views of the lake. Large grassy side yard for additional games like ladder ball and Frisbee. Outside shower available and ample outdoor lighting. Property comes with complementary use of a 10 ft aluminum row boat, 3 Kayaks and 3 Paddle boards for guest use.

Great Lake Experience

Wonderful stay in a beautiful house on Lake Norman. The host provided ample water related toys including kayaks, paddle boards, and floats as well as life jackets for the adults. We enjoyed our private little slice of the lake and enjoying beautiful sunsets on the dock.

This was our 3rd year at this home. This is a great property for our annual family gathering. The indoor and outdoor spaces are well equipped. The screened porch is huge and can accommodate the whole family as does the outdoor patio. The fire pit is always a must for smores and outdoor evening time. We will definitely book this property for our future family vacations.

We had a great time! The lake is perfect and the kayaks and paddle boards were put to good use. House had plenty of room for everyone, although some couples used to larger beds at home felt a little tight in the double beds. lol Steve was super responsive and very kind!

Family vacation

We went on a vacation with my husbands family. There were 15 of us total, we had plenty of space in the house and loved the screened in deck area, that’s where we spent most of the time. The sandy beach/water area was perfect for our little kids, they loved playing there. Stephen was was very easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again.

Great house and outdoor entertainment area

The house was great and comfortably hosted our 12 guests we came with. The outdoor entertainment area was perfect for our group and the outdoor kitchen really helped with large family meals. The location on the lake was nice and quiet and allowed us to swim and kayak without worrying about boat traffic. The large screened in porch was a big bonus for us to spend family time since we did have a lot of rain the week we were there. I communicated with Steve several times throughout the week and he was very attentive. Great host.

We stayed here for our annual family lake trip, and where more than happy! House was very clean and the location was perfect. It was calm enough to spend the day swimming off the dock and close enough to the local marina for us to rent a boat. The house was amazing and we look forward to booking it again!

Great Family Fun!

The house was very clean when we arrived and the constant communication with the owner was so helpful. We had 6 young kids and they had a blast with the paddle boards and the kayaks. Plenty of parking areas for all of us. All had a great time.

Great location and set up well for multiple families

This is our second time staying at this property. We have 11 people from 4 different parts of our family that come together and the bedroom set up works really well for us. We also love the lake location as it's not very busy and safe for our kids to swim, fish, and paddle. We also love the convenience to the boat rental location.

Summer vacation

We had a really nice week. We rented a boat, brought some good floats and spent most days on the lake. We cooked dinners in and enjoyed the fire pit and the screened in porch. We also enjoyed floating on the lake near the house and dock.

Great family getaway on Lake Norman

My family of 11 spent a week at this property during COVID. The spaciousness, number of outdoor spaces and fans made this a perfect location for our vacation. From the water toys, dock, screened porch and huge kitchen/dining/den areas we were pleased at every turn. Everything was very clean and plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy some relaxing down time. We would definitely consider renting this property again!

Steve and Jennifer Callaghan owners since 2003, we remodeled the house from 2100 Sq Ft to over 4800 Square feet in 2009. We are "empty nesters" ,with 4 beautiful girls. We have enjoyed this property in the summer for over 20 years, and we now like to travel for the summer for 8-10 weeks , so we have made our home available for others to enjoy with their family while we are traveling. We both come from large families, know the value of reconnecting yearly, and have enjoyed large family gatherings at our house for the past 15 years. We designed and built the house with sharing it with as much family as possible and as often as possible. We hope you really enjoy the property and hope you feel right at home while your here. Sit and relax in the many places available or get out there and be active.

Why they chose this property

When we found this property it was perfect for our family of 4 young girls back in 2003. The cove is private, quiet, and faces west and often offers some really beautiful sunset in a secluded setting. The cove was a perfect safe spot for our girls to swim, Jet ski, and water ski while growing up without the worries of big open water (Main channel areas of the lake) that lead to big traffic!! It also offered easy access to the entire +500 miles of shore line because we are roughly at the middle of the lake.

What makes this property unique

Large roomy house with multiple decks, and multiple places to sit and relax. Western facing and produces some really beautiful private "quiet" sunsets. Low traffic area of the lake so it usually is not rough from boat wakes and makes an enjoyable place to sit on the dock to relax.
