The location of the apartment could not be better, just a few steps away from the beach and walking distance to the historic center of Barcelona, the Born area, o las Ramblas. It is very well communicated with public transportation: metro, bus and tram.

The area of Villa Olimpica was built to host the thousands of athletes that participated during the 1992 Olympic games. Many well-known architects from around the world participated on its construction designing magnificent buildings and public spaces. Some of the main features are the two high towers of more than 140 meters, the 'fish without head' sculpture from Frank Gerhy, or the 'iron palm trees' from Enric Miralles. It is a very pleasant area to life in, and it has a beautiful promenade in front of the sea to stroll at any time of the day. It has all kind of restaurants, from pizzerias to high gourmet. In front of the apartment there is a commercial center with a convenient supermarket and movie theater that play all movies in original version.

Light and spaciousness are the main features in this one-bedroom apartment. The whole south-west façade of the living room is composed with big sliding windows looking out to a small terrace from where you have a view of the sea. It is totally furnished with everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The living room has a comfy sofa that converts into a double-bed, a nice Bang-Olufsen TV with TDT and DVD, and an interesting library in case you decide to stay in. The bedroom also has direct access to the terrace, and it has a king size bed and a convenient wall made of closets. The kitchen has a breakfast table, and it is totally equipped with dishwasher, fridge, coffee maker, kettle, microwave, washing machine, drier, pots and pans, dishes, etc. It has a complete bathroom with fresh towels. It has central heating, air conditioning and wifi connection to internet. It also has an optional parking and a pleasant community garden with children's area.

We can't say enough about our stay at Rosa's apartment. Rosa was a very gracious host and made sure all of our needs were cared for and then some. The apartment was well stocked, and the location was excellent. It was a great experience to to stay at Rosa's.

Words won’t do it justice!

12 out of 10 stars! Rosa María’s piso is clean, modern, quiet, welcoming, and has amazing A/C for the summer heat. The shower is a dream, and the kitchen is very well-stocked; we did not need to purchase any condiments or even coffee. Rosa María was available through the app, though she also provided her cell number. We got great recommendations from her at check in, and had access to myriad books and maps of Barcelona. The beach is a block away, and there are chairs and umbrellas in the apartment. One very special detail: Rosa Maria texted me a few days before our stay asking my kids’ ages so she could leave some age-appropriate books and activities for them.

Amazing location, wonderful property manager excellent space

We cannot praise our first VRBO experience enough. Rosa responded immediately to our questions, the apartment was immaculate, the location was perfect and we would highly recommend Rosa and this space. I was doubtful as it was our first VRBO experience, well we are completely happy and satisfied with the entire experience. There was nothing negative, only a wonderful vacation in Barcelona. Sadly, it had to end. Thank you Rosa, your warmth and hospitality needs no improvement.

Rosa’s place is just amazing. The location is so close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The apartment is so well appointed. It’s modern, comfortable and has all you need for a great stay. Rosa met us and explained how everything worked, was a great resource on getting around and met us as we left. She even arranged a cab to take us to the airport. It was the best VRBO stay we have ever had!

Fabulous in Barcelona

What a great place to stay! Excellent location close to all the sites (we walked to the Sagrada Família) and less than 5 minutes to the beach (lots of beach gear provided). Apartment has an excellent well equipped kitchen. Rosa provided excellent advice regarding best restaurants and how to efficiently use the bus/train systems. All in all this is great accommodation.

Fabulous stay in Barcelona

We didn’t expect Rosa to meet us. She showed us the apartment and gave us great information on the city that was very useful. The apartment is exactly as advertised. The apartment included everything you might need including beach chairs and guide books should you need it. It is a great location for getting around. We used public transportation. Rosa checked in on us and arranged our taxi back to the airport. Our stay could not have been better.

Wonderful apartment in a great location. A little bit of a walk to the metro but the apartment made up for it. We had coffee on the terrace in the morning and cocktails in the evening. Rosa was fabulous and very accommodating, storing our luggage when we arrived early and after we checked out. Would highly recommend it!

Great Location

Just as the title implies. This was a great location which was about 1.5 from the beach. I could not have asked to deal with a nicer owner then Rosa Bolet. She patiently and politely addressed any questions I had about Barcelona. Her apartment is equipped with all of the basic necessities for a successful trip. We quickly felt right at home in her apartment which we don't normally do in a hotel room. I highly recommend this property for all who want to have a nice time exploring Barcelona or for those just simply looking to enjoy the very nearby beach of Nova Icaria.

No doubt, this must be the best location in Barcelona. I have been a lot of times, but this is 150m from the beach. Perfect! It’s clean, a good shower and beds. This will do perfect for a weekendtrip. Housewife is lovely and checkin and out went perfect. Have a nice stay!

We stayed at this great Barcelona apartment for 5 nights in July. From our first enquiry right through to the day we left, Rosa could not have been more helpful & accommodating. The apartment is spacious & has everything you need. The beach is a 5 minute walk away where there are a couple of nice beach bars/restaurants plus a nice marina with more bars & restaurants. The apartment is close to the metro & bus stops so it is very easy to get around. An excellent find that we will definitely use again. 😊

Great Value at a Central Location in Bareclona

We stayed 6 days and really appreciated this well provisioned and located apartment. We ate many dinners in and the kitchen was well equipped. The suite is one block from great beaches. We were able to walk to the Sagrada Familia, Los Ramblas, and many other points of interest. Rosa was very helpful in setting us up for a good time. We would definitely rent this suite again.

Very fine apartment, very well located…. with Garage;

We visited barcelona with the motorcycle, and we booked Rosa‘s apartment, because it was one of the few with garage option. By chance, what a luck! After a five-days journey to barcelona, we were welcomed by a very friendly host, Rosa, and we felt very comfortable from the first minute. The apartment had everything we needed… (and more!!), look at the description – it’s PERFECT! It is also very well located; near the beach; a supermarket is across the street: a lovely little bakery (named „elias“) is around the corner; (I bought the poor man, who‘s sitting in front of the building, always a sausage-bread….you should do the same….that gives him a little smile….) the metro station (ciutadella) is ~ 15 min walk away; many restaurants at the port…. we ate severel times at the „La Barca“ Restaurant (granted, it looks touristic, but the mixed Paella is very good) All in all, for us it was a fantastic stay, with a mixture of sightseeing and travelling (coastroads, coastroads, coastroads…. :-) )

Great place,well equipped in good condition. Very close to the beach.About 3 blocks from the metro.

We walked to Barceloneta, Bari Gotic and Placa Catalunya and the Zoo. Great promenade along the beach to walk,bike or run. Docemasuno is a very good restaurant down the street. There was a beach umbrella, 2 beach chairs and a small cooler as well as beach toys for the kids. Supermarket fully stocked is just across the street.

Excellent Apartment!

The apartment was equipped with everything we could wish for, and it was very tastefully decorated and cosy. It is situated virtually steps away from the Olympic Harbour with its beaches, restaurants and bars, and a shopping centre with a good supermarket in the basement is also only a few metres from its doorstep. Communication with Rosa, the owner, was excellent, and everything went very smoothly. Fully recommended - and we'll certainly be back!
