About this property

Our year-round west-facing cabin is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath lake home with main floor laundry and a newly built great room, this home sleeps 8 (2 in king bed, 2 in queen, 2 in double, 1 in twin, 1 on the futon.)We are located on the quiet east bay of Balsam Lake. There is easy access to the lake with a public boat landing less than 1/4 mile from the house. There is room on the dock for you to bring your boat. Balsam Lake is a 1900 acre lake that is a great recreational lake.

This cabin is a quiet retreat and the neighbors are close. We are not interested in renting to anyone looking to be loud at night.

Central air and gas fireplace available if needed. High-speed internet is available as well. This lake home is fully furnished with all bedding, towels, kitchen supplies, gas grill, and recreational firepit, (only approved firewood is permitted) There is a dock available for your use. All you need to bring is your boat, personal items, paper products, and food. Our new Sauna is up and running—if you are interested in using it during your stay message the owner ahead of time.

500.00 refundable security deposit required
300.00 cleaning fee for all stays

*PETS*: Each guest who brings a pet to the property will be subject to a one-time, non-refundable pet cleaning fee of $300 to cover the costs of additional housekeeping required to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests that stay at Sunset Cabin following the presence of a dog or cat. (Any guest who brings pets to Sunset Cabin and does not declare such pets before check-in will be charged a non-refundable $500 penalty fee)

Winter rentals are available on request. Your pet(s) stay free.

Great view and lake access

Really great view, beautiful dock and outdoor area with fireplace. Very happy there was air conditioning on a hot weekend! Interior has older furniture, bedding but overall met our needs.
