The first thing I noticed when we entered was how clean it was, it’s even nicer in person than in pictures. I love how homey/cozy it feels- like you have a family member letting you stay in their home and less like you’re staying in a hotel. We could find anything we needed easily. Brenda was so easy to communicate with and really cared that we had a great stay. We would absolutely book here again!

Quiet Retreat

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is lovely and the location in the woods was very peaceful and serene. We only stayed two nights, but would rent this property again.

Just What we needed for 3 generations of Family

It was extremely clean, the property was extremely well kept. The amenities were much greater that we ever could have imagined - besides the standard (towels, soap, etc.) we had books, magazines, games and kitchen equipped with everything including beautiful dishes. Location was great for all kinds of adventures, but was very secluded and private.

Cabin was spacious, clean and very comfortable. 3 levels with bathroom on each level was convenient. Brenda's family did an amazing job in making the cabin cozy and comfortable. We'll come back for sure!

Great place for our ATV weekend

This was the perfect place for our winter weekend in Balsam Lake. Quick access to the lake and ATV trails. Plenty of room for our trucks, trailers, ATVs and 12 people to sleep. It had all the essentials we needed and was clean. Would highly recommmend!

Beautiful autumn setting!

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful, clean and comfortable home and its quiet spot in the forest. It’s well equipped for meals and has comfy bedrooms and we enjoyed the seasonal decor. A special place for our annual family get-together. Favorite moment: coffee on the deck wrapped in cozy blankets as the sun shone through fall leaves. Thanks for a great weekend!

Family Reunion

We had a family reunion on a nearby lake and rented this cabin for overflow sleeping and accommodations. Everyone was impressed by the number of sleeping options, cleanliness, privacy, and total space. It was fantastic!

Great space for multiple couples

We had a weekend stay here with three couples - originally planned for four. There was plenty of space and great shared area as well. We spent the day on the lake and while this property is off the lake, it was easy to get there. Also enjoyed Indianhead supper club as well. Fun weeekend - thank you for the hospitality!

Plenty of room at just the right price!

I have a big family and it was surprising to see this place has lots of bed. WiFi and TV is available and we got to watch the Minnesota Twins play on TV while we were there. We also got to see the northern lights while we were there on our first night but we have to drive to the lake to see it. We hiked at interstate park Wisconsin,we ate at that otter restaurant ( and they have very good pizza!) and we walked around the city Balsam Lake. This place was a perfect place to stay with the whole family!

The property was exactly as pictured. It was clean, well stocked and very comfortable. The grounds were well kept and beautiful with flowers. We enjoyed the deck for coffee in the morning and talks during the day. We had a bonfire and s'mores in the evening. It is a wonderful, peaceful, beautiful place to get away!
