Been to this place many times and we have always had a blast. Cabin has been added onto and even more impressive. If you are looking for a place to go this is it.
We all had a wonderful time. Something to do for all ages, fishing was great, the kayaks, paddle boat and raft were in use all day. Beautiful home, clean, well stocked and plenty of room for everyone. The addition is awesome and the new screen porch is a great place to kick back. We would definitely enjoy a return trip!!
This cabin was even better than the pictures. We had a great time fishing and caught a lot! Mainly bass and some nice size pan fish. We enjoyed all of the boats available. Had fun playing ping pong and some of the games provided. Loved hearing the loons and seeing the eagles flying over everyday. Also a momma deer and her two fawns could be seen often. Our only regret was a week wasn’t long enough!
The property was beautiful and so spacious! The addition of the screened in porch overlooking the lake was amazing. The flies are pretty bad this time of year so it was nice to enjoy the outdoors without working about them biting! The only thing that was not clearly stated in the listing was that the water supply can be an issue if you are not careful. Showers were to be limited to 5-10 minutes and we were unable to use the washing machine without being charged extra. I wish this would have been more clear in the listing. Otherwise, a great place that was so roomy!
Our stay was fun and relaxing. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The fall colors were amazing and the lake was beautiful. Hope to stay here again!
This was our 4th time at this cabin. We have been to four others with our family only because this one was not available the week we had vacation. Cabin is great, lake is perfect and owner is great to work with.
A fun and relaxing getaway. We took advantage of the paddle boat, kayaks, ping pong table and out door fire pit. The lake is small but clean and surprising quiet. The fishing was good too!
My family stayed at Tom’s cabin for four days and had a wonderful experience. Tom has excellent detailed communication and even told us where the best places to fish. Great experience.
Extremely neat, clean, modern family cabin. Peaceful, serene spot. The view of the lake is outstanding. The lake itself is clean and not very weedy! We were able to fish right off of the dock. Great place to gather with your family!
This was our first time staying at this property. Everything matched the listing description and pictures. Tom,the owner, is great and super responsive. The lake is perfect for swimming and floating. There are kayaks and a canoe for use as well. Kitchen is well stocked! We will be back. Pretikitchen.
Booked this location for a relaxing weekend away with my husband and some friends to celebrate my birthday.
We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin/location, as it was spacious and cozy for the four of us! With the snow, we enjoyed some board games, an indoor fire, and exploring the area of Cumberland/Comstock.
Tom’s kindness, quick responses, and overall assistance with not only the booking process, but also with a question we had during our stay was greatly appreciated as well! We would definitely stay here again!!
Our family of 6 was very comfortable during our stay. It’s got plenty of space but had a cozy feel. We ate most of our meals at the cabin and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. Several evenings we enjoyed walking up the road and watching some spectacular sunsets as well as spotting all kinds of wildlife. The kids loved the kayaks and we took the paddle boat out all over the lake. Little Long Lake is a small, quiet, and peaceful lake that is perfect for fishing. Cumberland was a quick drive and the grocery store had everything we needed. I feel that the pictures are an accurate representation of the space. Tom was very responsive to anything we needed which we really appreciated.
Beautiful setting and a small clean lake, often glassy smooth, without seaweed and with some beautiful water flowers and loons, herons, and pilleated woodpeckers. The lake is dark but clean. We appreciated and used the kayaks and paddle boat.
The house is surrounded by trees and quite private. It is recently updated with nice amenities. Our only wish was for a larger, taller toilet downstairs. The enclosed porch was pleasant and we enjoyed having coffee on the deck in the morning while watching and listening to wildlife. We also enjoyed the fire pit. The WiFi was adequate. We did wish the holding tanks weren’t emptied quite so early on our last day (just because of noise). The owner is friendly and helpful when we had questions.
Overall we enjoyed our stay very much!
We had a great time at the place on a 10 day rental. The cabin was very clean and nice "up north" decorations. All the beds were very comfortable which is nice after a long day on the lake. Pan fishing was very good. Have to be patient and wait for the big ones to bit. We did well. Grandkids had a blast on our lily pad and swimming to the raft. The kayaks are quality made and very easy to use. It was fun to navigate around the lake. We had a loon just off the dock every evening. . She had a baby hidden under her back. We took several walks and saw bambi's It certainly is a peaceful and quiet property. The lake is smaller yet very deep for its size. A very nice firepit to make smores and relax after a day of sun. Property does have some steps that were not disclosed on photos. The internet connection was a hit and miss so bring DVDs. They had many and most were family focused. The placed lacked some basic items ie outdoor extension cord, matches or lighter for fire, some paper supplies, and towels. They are clear on what they supply for towels but think they could do more for a 10 day rental. Do bring your own drinking water as it does have an after taste as they stated in listing. Thanks Dan
This was our 2nd year staying here. We love it here! The cabin is clean, beds comfortable and our kids love the ping pong table and lake. Tom is very responsive. Thank you for the great stay.
