About this property

Spectacular mountain views, hot tub, sledding yard, bbq, fast wi-fi

The ultimate home base for alpine adventures — just a 5-minute drive to the slopes at Bear Mountain and down the street from shops, entertainment, restaurants, and the glittering waters of Big Bear Lake for boating and fishing.

The home’s huge wraparound deck is a great entertaining space, with plenty of seating and outdoor heaters for evening get-togethers. Inside, knotty pine accents are featured throughout. Fully equipped gourmet kitchen, open living space detailed with a rock fireplace and theater-style reclining couches. Eloquent decor that one creative guest turned into a kid game of "count the bears", (clue: over 100).

After a day of outdoor adventures, the spacious mudroom greets you where you can offload your gear, (but please, leave skis and snowboards outside in the back or side patio).

LIVING AREAS

A floor-to-ceiling river rock fireplace keeps everyone snug in the open living space. A pinewood ceiling, log accents, and hardwood floors add to the mountain lodge vibe, while theater-style recliners offer comfy seating to relax. Cozy warm throws provided and stored inside the ottoman.

Kick back and watch movies on the 55" flat screen smart TV, or get a game going at the window-side game table.

KITCHEN & DINING

Whip up your favorite recipes in the gourmet kitchen, outfitted with sparkling granite countertops, well-stocked cabinets, and stainless steel appliances — including a gas range.

This open cooking space also has a three-person kitchen bar — the perfect spot for breakfast coffee and pancakes.

It’s easy to dish up meals at the adjacent dining area, where a large table seats six.

BEDROOMS & BATHS

This house sleeps up to six guests between the two bedrooms.

The inviting master bedroom has a comfy queen bed, a cushioned window reading nook, and a large closet for personal storage. An en-suite bathroom comes with a tub/shower combination.

The second bedroom is perfect for kids, with two twin-over-full bunk beds. This room also features an open storage area, and a 32” wall-mounted smart TV.

The guest bathroom impresses with a unique LED rain shower that changes lights depending on the water temperature.

OUTDOOR AREAS

Our newly remodeled front deck with an impressive covered entry welcomes you to the chalet. Take in the artistic accents, such as the custom sign with the chalet's name, and the all unique and exquisite custom live tree table with its tree-trunk stools.
A sliding door off the great room leads to the wraparound deck. Set amid the treetops, this tranquil outdoor space has a patio table for al fresco dining, a gas grill, and cushioned lounge furniture for gatherings. Outdoor heaters let you enjoy the space even when the snow falls.
Our relaxing spa awaits on the partially covered porch which allows you to enjoy a hot tub experience protected from snow or rain.

Parking is easy in the long driveway which accommodates 2 cars.

EXTRA AMENITIES

Guest amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, Netflix, washer/dryer, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, and too many more to mention.

THE LOCATION

Bring your skis and get set for an adventure on the slopes — the home is just a 5-minute drive to Bear Mountain. Or check out the trails at Snow Summit — a 10-minute drive.

Beautiful Cabin

Great place to stay if you want to hang out on the deck and enjoy the view. It’s a twisty curvy drive up and down the hill but as long as you bring your food and drinks you’ll be all set. TVs in every room, plenty of extra pillows and amazing blankets. Super clean and well stocked kitchen. There are cameras on the deck to make sure you don’t use the jacuzzi, just FYI. I would have liked a disclaimer about the camera as it was just a little surprising when we noticed them.

We are a couple living in Orange County, CA. We love the Big Bear area and all it has to offer all year round. We love the crisp mountain air, the wondrous pine trees, we love to fish and hike and ski. In early 2017, we bought this property and went right into remodeling the entire cabin for the next several months. A lot of hard work and care went into every detail in this home. This was our dream and it became a reality. We want to share it with you so you too can build wonderful memories while staying at our cabin. We truly hope you enjoy your stay and we trust that you will take good care of our home.
