Beautiful beach and penthouse

From the moment we walked in the penthouse felt like home! We loved the amazing views from the patio and master bedroom, as well as walking right down to the beach were the highlights of our trip! The condo was equipped with everything we needed: beach towels, toiletries, kitchen utensils, as well as a washer and dryer. We will be back for sure!

Beautiful Everything

We have stayed at several places throughout the years in Fort Myers Beach, and besides a home we use to rent, this has been our favorite. The space was large, the views were breathtaking, the furnishings are very comfortable, the communication with the owner representative was fast. There were even small items provided for us to get us started the first days we were there. Beach towels, hair dryers, straighteners, curling irons, shampoo/conditioner/soap, etc. were all there. Pool was on the beach side, and so well maintained. We will be returning.

Overpriced

Definitely expected more from the Penthouse Paradise. The condo was adequate for our needs and the beach was amazing. Not a ton of people because the area is still heavily damaged from the hurricane. The condo property is under major construction with scaffolding and workers everywhere. It will be great in 6 months.

Amazing condo! Great family vacay!

This property was perfect for our family of six! It was just as portrayed. We had a great time! My only complaint would be the lack of communication. They shut down the pool suddenly with zero warning even though it was a scheduled window change and planned in advance. Super frustrating when a simple message could have allowed us to plan our day accordingly. Otherwise, the staff are lovely people and the condo is wonderful!

Condo was everything they said it was. Super clean, well-stocked kitchen (pots, pans, dishes, etc). Submitted a question to Vacasa several times through their email channels with no response. Phone response was unproductive.

Perfect, Quiet Oasis!

We had a wonderful stay with our family of 6! It doesn’t get any better than right on the beach and also having a pool! It is a very quiet area with both condo buildings on either side currently vacant and under construction due to hurricane Ian. The CVS a couple blocks away came in very handy! Not very many other shops or restaurants within walking distance besides that, but not a deal breaker for us. We drove the 10 min to Bonita Springs for a couple dinners and cooked in the condo a couple nights. We enjoyed watching beautiful sunsets from the patio every evening. The master bedroom does get quite warm even with the blackout shades drawn 24/7 but not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things. We would definitely come back to this place and hope to do so soon!

Incredible Location and Great Stay

Penthouse Paradise was exactly what was depicted in the description and pictures; you simply cannot beat the views. Property was amazing; pool was big enough and the water was a 4 minute walk. We had an issue with no hot water and no water pressure upon check in. Once I figured out who to contact they had someone there to fix, at 10pm on a Sunday. Could have easily waited until the morning but the promptness was appreciated. Simply an amazing place. However - there are several areas that the owners and property managers can do to make this place a much easier reservation process. 1. There are really no clear policies, protocols, in the communication from Vacasa and virtually none once inside the property. All communication about the rental came from Vacasa but once inside there was a small note saying don't go to the desk - call the housekeeper - Toni. Toni was great and fixed our issue, but it was very confusing as to whom to contact if there were issues. Vacasa or Toni? There was also documentation about not leaving trash in the unit - totally acceptable - but the information sent talks about Trash receptables and nothing about where to actually take the trash. I took it to the dumpster, but later found out there was a trash shoot in the middle of the complex. Would be an improvement to indicate to take your trash and recycling to the trash shoot and not to the dumpster on the property. There is also a small note inside the cabinet above the washer that states to start a load of towels prior to leaving. Also fine- but if a person does not look inside the cabinet above the washer they would have no idea that this was being requested. I've stayed in a lot of vacation rentals, and this one is by far the best property and the best views of all of them. However, the frustration of not having a binder on-site with all of the information/policies of the building and the unit, make this a 4 star and not a 5 star unit. If you're thinking about staying here - you absolutely should, it's amazing. Owners and property management could do better at making things more clear.

Best get away ever

Everything was wonderful about this property! The view is amazing and check in and out process was easy! We had a problem with water pressure and the same day it was taken care of! Extremely well maintained, the only problem is we wanted to come back but our dates were already taken, lol! Worth every penny!

A decent place to stay

Positives: Clean, spacious, well equipped kitchen if you are planning to cook, good location. Negatives: Water pressure was non existent, only 2 passes provided to enter the pool/beach area which became an issue when everyone was not on the same schedule, and I'm not a fan of a master bathroom with out a door.

Many frustrations

Due to an error made by the third party management company we spent over 30 minutes on the phone with them trying to get the code to get in the door. The water pressure in this condo is pathetic and it takes about 15 minutes for the water to get hot. There is no on sight maintenance for this unit, and trying to call the management company is a nightmare. The bedding is very stiff and scratchy. The view is beautiful. The pool area is nice, and the beach is great. The beach chair rentals in front of this building are ridiculously expensive and the chairs they rent you are very uncomfortable. We won’t be back

A couple of suggestions...

The property is quite nice and the view could not be better. A couple of things that would be useful or helpful to future renters; Provide a cooler for use to occupants, enough toilet paper...kleenex...garbage bags...and paper towel would be useful as well...making a grocery run isn't on everyone's vacation plans and wouldn't be all that costly to the owner. One additional thing to note....there is a very bad odor that comes up through the pipes every night. Smells like swamp gas and seems to be centered around the second bathroom by the entrance to the unit. All things considered it was a nice stay with those things noted.

Wonderful property - gorgeous condo! Fresh new kitchen, sunsets from the deck. This condo has everything you need- all kitchen items.. keurig and coffee maker, blender, bar tools/mixers, computer desk, comfy beds, washer dryer. Easy beach access - fitness center limited but sufficient. We had a great time!!!
