Located in Contes, this farm stay is in a rural area and on a river. Port of Nice and Monaco Harbour are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those in the mood for shopping can visit Promenade des Anglais. Looking to enjoy an event or a game? See what's going on at Circuit de Monaco or Allianz Riviera. Discover the area's water adventures with jet skiing and scuba diving nearby, or enjoy the great outdoors with hiking and horse riding.
Between sea and mountains, just 20 km from Nice, Monaco and the most beautiful beaches of the Riviera, at the foot of the Mercantour National Park, come and enjoy the enchanting calm of the family home of Segolene and Christophe. This bastide of the eighteenth, whose legend tells that it belonged to the doctor of Napoleon is loaded with history. This house has a soul and you will be transported in another time thanks to the old materials, the French garden and the thousand flourishing corners. Canas, rosebushes, lavender, bougainvillea and pittosporums give an effusion of colors in shades of blue, orange and red. As for the magnificent palms, yuccas and cactuses, they transport you to the tropics. In absolute calm, only disturbed by the small birds in the morning, the cicadas during the day, the tree frogs in the evening and the crickets at night, you will benefit from a magnificent view on the Macaron mount and the wild valley. You are alone in the world. The pool area, separate from the house, is a little more lively with the bar, the barbecue, the darts and the children splashs. The pool is unusually large and will allow you to do laps. Finally, you can enjoy the petanque field, the ping pong table, the parrot aviary, vegetable garden and fresh eggs from our pretty chicks. The house has 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. In the spring and summer, you will live outside and there are 3 different places with large tables for meals.
For activities, if you can leave paradise, they are unlimited with Nice and Monaco 20 minutes, the beaches and the mountains. You can visit the medieval perch villages of the hinterland of Nice, cycling or hiking in the Mercantour (the valley of wonders for example) or just from the house. Beaches and water sports or swimming, canoeing and white water fishing, anything is possible. There is a pony club a few steps away.
Some say that Bastide Filomena is the last lost paradise of the Cote d'Azur. It's your turn to discover it ... and to make it your own!
