Great house for a family trip

We really enjoyed our stay at the Agape House in Columbia Heights. David was super helpful before we arrived, and very accommodating in allowing us to arrive early and leave our van in the driveway so we could start our time in DC before official checkin time, and then again on check out so we could see a few more sights before we left. He responded to emails and texts promptly, and was actually there when we arrived so he gave us a tour of the house. We loved the location, easy walk to the Metro each day, and a lively, friendly neighborhood. The kitchen is well stocked for making some breakfasts at the house. The beds are very comfortable and the AC worked well in a very hot and humid week in DC. Plentiful towels and a washer/dryer being available to use was helpful, too. One suggestion would be additional towel bars or a drying rack outside the bathroom, someplace to hang 6 towels to dry between showers. Overall we loved our stay and would not hesitate to recommend this house to others.

The property is clean, comfortable and very roomy. Centrally located to many historical sites and walking distance to very good restaurants. I enjoyed a very lovely stay!

Good location to metro subway, spacious, owner a great communicator.

The owner was a great communicator - responding to texts and messages almost instantly. The property is a great location to the metro subway with being only 1&1/2 blocks away and a short ride (10-20 minutes) to downtown DC attractions. The property was as advertised - no surprises. There were nice little extras with snack food and the refrigerator stocked with bottles of water. Towels and linens also provided. The property was spacious and a good option for a family compared to the prices of a central downtown hotel.
